        • I think coupon stacking has to be approved by ShopBack, I have messaged rep but no response. Not going to risk it without confirmation.

        • We do not receive reasons for rejection but can only guess.

          Select coupons/seller coupons are fine to use on the other hand.

      Can't blame them tbh. Category commission ranges from 3% to 9% so the profit loss can be quite high.

    Grabbed a few small items during the 20% deal, paid 4 minutes before the end and got the tracking email soon after, good stuff.

    On a side note my $6 refer a friend bonus finally showed up today.

    Still haven't paid my account anything over 30 cent cashback in 12 months. I give up on this lot.

    The amount of people who have legitimate claims never paid are documented throughout OzBargain

      It's a shame as I have had nothing but positive experiences and even when I had one issue their communication was prompt and it was sorted pretty quickly.

    • I've had a huge number of confirmed cashbacks from as far back as November get stuck in pending past the expected clearance date. I messaged support and it took a while, but they got onto them and they've all cleared now. They even gave me a bit of a credit to make up for those that were rejected. So it's been a bumpy process, but their support is good.

      • It's my view that once tracked, to not pay, is simply playing a game of averages over who will /won't contact support - that's why I think they're a scam…

      • I have so far claimed over 300 dollar back and more than half of it is sitting in my PayPal account at the moment

        It is very important to follow the steps like only add items to the cart after click through or make sure you didn't use any coupons that isn't from sb

        The tracking is as good as the merchant confirming the transaction. If the tracking isn't successful for any reasons there is absolutely nothing they can do

      Every single purchase has tracked and paid, no matter the size. Had issues with CR though.

      I just received $48 cashback from shopback from multiple bouts of shopping done in the lead up to xmas. Not a single issue. Same experience for my partner. I think you guys just need to follow the instructions better.

    I have NOTHING but POSITIVE things to say about shopback. Previously I used Cashrewards once and it was for a deal with Virgin mobile at something like 20 dollar cashback and it never came through. I vowed never to use their service after, all my shopback transactions have come through on the other hand.

    • As they say YMMV. All our CR purchases were tracked. And to be absolutely sure it is not you, but them, you need to turn off ad blocker, clear cookies and follow directions exactly as they say. Every business have their share of problems, so too CR and SP.

      BTW, nice of you to yell about positive things to say about SP, so I'll yell to CR ROCKS.

      Usually a few hours but it can take up to 2 days (allow some buffer time in case of a backlog).

      Same, i used the phone app as advised by the OP in the last deal and purchased a new phone but no cashback tracked. I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere if they end up not honoring or tracking the 20% cashback. First time using Shopback instead of Cash-rewards so hoping the experience will turn positive.

  • Hi rep, I purchased different items in separate orders so I ended up having multiple payments. But I just realized the cashback is deactivated after each payment because your browser plugin is not showing activated. I have to click and get redirected again to make it show activated. Would that mean all my subsequent purchased are not eligible for cashback?

    If yes, I need to warn people here how bad this plugin is… And also probably cancel my order.

      Each time you perform a new transaction, indeed you need to reactivate cashback again for each subsequent transaction.

      To ensure Cashback is tracked, click through ShopBack before making a new transaction.
