Saw this hack on mydealz and thought I'd give it a go - it works!

Steps -
1. Add a product to the cart but don't pay yet.
2. Add a Russian address (I used the Moscow McDonald's) to the shipping address at the time of payment. Change your delivery address to this one.
2. Apply the ALI promo code plus any other coupons you have.
3. Use the method of payment "other methods" but do not pay and have the product in the section pending payment. Cancel the order with the option to change the shipping address (done via My Orders screen).
4. Add the same product to the cart again.
5. Apply the ALI promo code with your Australian address.
6. Pay normally.

Tested working.

    Somehow I just bought $15.81 aud worth of stuff and $7.17 aud discount applied automatically….no idea what it’s for and don’t see any coupons applied and didn’t have to do the Russian address routine

    Note that when you submit the order the first time with the Russian address, remove any seller coupons. Some are single use and won't be available once the order is cancelled.

          Disclaimer: I used neither so can’t say I’ve timed either. But typing in address again and adding payment again and managing multiple accounts seem like a bit of a hassle…”free” or nearly free stuff is tantalizing but gotta suppress your human heuristics and not fall prey to these tendencies sometimes maybe? I do it myself all the time so gotta admit it’s easier said than done.

            @donamique: Once you figure it out it’s not that time consuming. Just copy and paste a russia address into street address and AliExpress autofill the country etc.

      The coupon doesn’t stack but you can use both. So you can create a new account. Use the new user code, then use the russia bypass code

    When it says awaiting payment and I try to cancel the order giving reason change shipping address, it goes to status cancelled instead of letting me change address like the post suggests

      Got it working with another way, on the check out page, try change the shipping address back to Australia address then apply the code, it worked this way for me after so many time auto closed order.

    I got it to work but in My Orders it shows as I paid full amount, this same for other people?

    In checkout confirm it said discount applied. Guess I will just see what my bank statement says
