  • Here's a great review of this camera.

    • -2

The review might be great but is the camera any good?

      • +1

Yes, its a good unit. I have used it for almost a year now. No complaints. Both front and rear cameras provides good footage.

Fair’s just that some can’t deal with the thought that fake reviews do in fact exist.

just be prepared to wait 2 months to receive your order from banggood

    • +1

      can confirm this 100%.
and also be prepared for it to not arrive at all.

  • I assume it can't run off a powerbank as it requires 3.1A? Can anyone confirm?

    • Yes, it certainly can. Ive used power bank to power it many times now. Particularly in shopping centre carparks.

  • Are there any options where you don't need to run a cable from the rear camera to the front? Surely the Wi-Fi connection could be used for that?

    • Better off using a cable for better video recording and transfer.

    • Dont think it will work. The wifi is for your phone to connect to the unit to view video footage. At times ive use it for live footage via the phone as a reversing camera

  • Warranty?

  • Was looking to purchase one until I was told that hardwiring will void the manufacturer's warranty :/

    • Cars warranty? Surely you can plug things into the fuse box without that being voided…?
Which brand do you have profeeder, now you have me worried.

      • I'm with Honda. I was quite keen to get it installed but was told that it could void the manufacturer warranty that comes with your car purchase

        • No need to hard wire per se. Goto Jaycar and get a double blade fuse holder and tap it off the fuse for the 12v ciggy lighter. \get a female ciggy lighter socket and wire the double fuse holder to it so that you can use the dash cam's power adaptor. bare in mind you will need a grounding point to the chassis for the negative which is fairly easy to find too. This way you can remove it if you need to take the car in for service or whatevs

          • @Neilzy: Confused at why you would do this over just getting a ciggy lighter double adapter and plugging into the factory ciggy lighter socket?

            • +1

@CamNEW: So that its hidden as well as being able to hide the unsightly power cable.

  • come with 12months OZ warranty and shipping.!4209!AU!-1

When ebay offered 10% off code it is $220.50

Use ebay giftcard currently sell at coles it will be $215.50
($50 giftcard with 1000 flybuys points means you pay $45 for $50 giftcard)
if you have more than one flybuys account it will be more cheaper.

  • Thanks OP. Brought x5 as needed them for all the family cars. Came down to $167 each but that was probably because I had $50 coupon too.
