    Dont think it will work. The wifi is for your phone to connect to the unit to view video footage. At times ive use it for live footage via the phone as a reversing camera

      I'm with Honda. I was quite keen to get it installed but was told that it could void the manufacturer warranty that comes with your car purchase

        No need to hard wire per se. Goto Jaycar and get a double blade fuse holder and tap it off the fuse for the 12v ciggy lighter. \get a female ciggy lighter socket and wire the double fuse holder to it so that you can use the dash cam's power adaptor. bare in mind you will need a grounding point to the chassis for the negative which is fairly easy to find too. This way you can remove it if you need to take the car in for service or whatevs

  Thanks OP. Brought x5 as needed them for all the family cars. Came down to $167 each but that was probably because I had $50 coupon too.
