Tiger Air has a bunch of deals going from $39.95 one-way for travel between around 23 July - 19 Sep 2019, including:

        I don't usually recommend praying to keep you airborne, but since they have aircraft with both engines failing at the same time, that's about all you have left

    A couple of weeks ago, 8.35pm flight from SYD-MEL cancelled while everyone was waiting for the plane. Next flight 8.45am the following day.
    NICE. Flight the following day was delayed 1hr 45mins.

      Same thing happened to me back in January. I had to fly back that same day so I paid $500 one way with Jetstar.

      Tiger Air has 15 planes in their fleet.

      Jetstar Airways (JQ) has 77 planes in their fleet.

      Those numbers alone are enough to explain why Tiger Air has so much difficulty adapting to any type of failure.

    Never trust any airplane that have names like it don't belong in the sky. Tiger…pretty sure Tiger don't fly, so why risk it.

        lol, you got me.. strange how some logos are not well thought out - I guess Kangaroo is more of a brand representation of Australia, where as Tiger I don't even know where they got their idea from.

    Remember that JETSTAR is always > Tiger,
    Better support, better service and finally it's a company that won't stuff you around.

    MUCH MUCH better service. try for a pricematch but always book with Jetstar if possible.
