    Lol. Ex brisbane is $499. No wonder.

    Quite a hike for other cities. Surprise, surprise, no Perth! Considering the surcharge per kilometre (comparing Melbourne to Brisbane), I'm not surprised why. It'd probably have been $5 less than flying malaysia airlines to europe.

        With Aussie so strong, you'd be silly not to go OS with your money. It's not like it's going to stay like this forever. I feel sorry for the local tourist industry (I used to work in tourisim so I know how much they are hurting right now), but considering we are looking at $1.10 US soon that's where you should be headed with your cash. Hawaii or Hamilton Island, tough call :).

    Who the hell wants to do non-motorised water sports in 10 degree water?
    It was windy enough when I went late spring last year.

    Oh my goodness.. I spent about $3000 (for two) in 3 nights when i went to Hamilton last year. I paid $500 alone for both the return air tickets from Sydney! This is definitely a bargain!

    Cheap yes, but you're literally stranded on the beach. Check out how much the excursions are …..
    I wonder how much you'll pay for a nice dinner ….

      You can get coles groceries delivered to the island by home dlivery I believe so it would work out good prices if you cook dinner which wouldn't take long. We cooked last time we went there but I didn't organise the delivery though
