    • But it does have comfyview. Awesome feature.

    • 1366x768. Is this 2010? lol More over they are using 8th Gen. I guess they get good boi points from Intel for using Optane ;) lol

  • Was $799 For an I3 And no proper SSD, Still at $649 Yeah nah.. Oh and mail in warranty fffffkn loool

How are you guys still in business ?? Are you run by Myer

$150 more buys the Acer Spin 3, a lot better notebook for $799. Full HD touchscreen, 13 hours battery, 128GB SSD. The CPU is virtually the same (8130U vs 8145U).

    • It's definitely better, but $799 and the cheapskates still only give you 4GB of RAM…. shocking.

This laptop has some truly bizarre specifications. For something that retails for $799 you'd expect perhaps 8GB of RAM and 1080p screen, instead of those, you sacrificed the RAM for Optane memory and the LCD display is downgraded to 768p in exchange for a 1TB spinning rust…

Like what is it even designed for? It's too heavy as a student laptop, the low-res display is bad for productivity and there's not enough ram for heavier applications.

    • But the 70yo Acer bigwigs thought that's what the consumers want !

  • Expensive for the price.

Halve it and I'll think about it.

Do you actually normally sell these for $799?

    Because here's an HP laptop that's $797 and has i5 8250U and 8GB RAM.

  • Haven't seen an Acer PC for sometime… maybe this is why.

Going to actually defend Acer here. Their Spin line up is great.

Here's a deal didn't end up getting it on this deal, but did for $699 on a future deal.

In 2017 there was FHD Touch + SSD + 8GB ram + i5 with better battery life and lighter for about as cheap as this.
In 2019 it appears we have gone backwards not forwards..

  • "Ex demo" models makes sense seeing as absolutely no one would buy this if they've demo'd it first hand in a shop.

    • Haha, that was a great deal. Does not come around often for long before sold out.

Saying that can definitely do better than this listing.

  • 4gb ram. 10 years ago
