  • Hold on does this do what a z-wave bank switch does, or is it just a smart action trigger button?

Feel free to post you RCM approval certificate

    Thanks

  • Aus compliant?

I bought 3 switches of aliexpress and I’m too scared to use them.

    • You should see if you can return them, as not worth the hassle of trying to get them installed

      • Having previously tried to get stuff refunded off aliexpress, that's not worth the effort either

    • https://iswitchoz.com.au/products these are certified, not sure of quality tho

Didn't you see the post? It's "Centificaiton: SAA" the highest level of Centificaiton there is.

      • Is that Australian compliant?

        For the regular people.
If it is, I feel the post should SCREAM aus safety standard, would help sales a lot.

If it isn’t, then I could not read your sarcasm

Not having a stab at you, just the original post. Certification, not "Centificaiton".

Quick search on ERAC database shows ZEMI has an Australian Safety certificate with GMA, just not sure if it applies to the models and actual units being sold.

      • spell mistake, certification

        • Cool - just to satisfy all of us, could you please send through a link to the certification?

  • Pretty expensive product and the discount is only $2 off using the discount code.

  • For those who are interested it looks like these can be controlled via home assistant

    • yeah, can control by homekit

      • I ended up ordering one of these and it turned up today except i was sent a 2 gang unit and I ordered a 1 gang. How do I get the 1 gang that I ordered?
Also there is nothing on the unit about SAA certification is it definitely compliant?

  • Can you flash these with tasmota? Will that void the warranty?

You can get a sonoff brand for ~$32AU.

  • I've decided not to get these due to concerns with AU certification

    • we have SAA ,u can check it,bro

      • Is it one of these? I can't find model numbers on your website.

        https://equipment.erac.gov.au/Public/Profiles.aspx?Applicati…

        • That only approves 2-gang wall switches… Now if we gave them the benefit of the doubt, and the one listed for sale here is AU approved, the 1 & 3 gang switches are not. Nor is anything else that they sell…

I would err on the side of legality (or insurance rather), and avoid purchasing.

The sparkies i know wont touch anything with a 10-ft-pole that doesn't comprise of clearly certified products
