Absolutely the best sound I've ever experienced from a set of over-ear headphones. Build quality is excellent - a little on the heavy side, which I find a little taxing after a few hours (I wear the all day at work), but don't let this put you off. Also, I don't use them for writing/recording music (got a little home studio), so I can't speak for that, but for listening to the finished product, they're incredible. The Company has also demonstrated excellent customer service - had them tweak a few settings which they then rolled out to my phones, live. The active noise cancelling isn't as good as Sony's (have tried them), but it's 80% there, and honestly the difference is not noticeable (for me) in practical application. Yeah, they're pretty expensive - I was fortunate enough to get the 20% discount deal last year - but worth it.

Yeah these are not bad if the dildos creatr proper seal in your ear. Make sure they do.
Just a a heads up. I bought these last December for 399 without analogue cable. Its not free because this deal is going on for 425 with free cable and 15% off and that is strange.
Got them today. I'll be returning them. I want them mainly for flights to Europe so long term comfort, battery life and ANC are top priorities.
The earbuds and cups (they're more cups than pads) are silicone and I don't find it comfortable. Quite irritating and hot in the ears.
To get best effect, they need to create a seal around your ears. Even though I have very short hair it struggled to do so.
The sound even after adjusting for my noggin was o, but not spectacular.
The touch controls (which work well) only work when using via Bluetooth. Not when connected via cable.
The ANC was pretty average.
