  • What is the difference between Marketing and Store Representatives & Associates?

    • There are quite a few options:

      • Associated
      • Employee
      • Product Rep
      • 3rd party marketing
      • Official Marketing (the one I chose for our store Mostly Melbourne)

Wonder if any risks with having wireless charging less than 1m from your head?

    • +25

Only if you've a receiver coil in your head.

      • Haha okay. I guess it's not outputting like a wifi router which isn't recommended.

        • +1

Why would you put a wireless router under 1m from your head?

          • +8

@Maverick-au: His head probably needs nightly updates?

          • @Maverick-au: I wouldn't, but some people have and have had headaches caused by it.

            • -1

@Sammyboy: "caused" is the wrong word. More like coincidentally…

              • @hypie: Although I think in the instructions of one of the routers I bought in the past they mentioned a recommended distance from the bed or head. I'm really not certain about this, but I vaguely recall reading something and thinking there must be something to it then if the manufacturer is writing it in the safety precautions.

    • -1

Unless you have magnets in your head, I don't understand why it would be a concern.

    • May not be ideal to have such EMFs near the bed, especially when its easy enough to place them atleast 2 metres away which is the distance sometimes referred to as a minimun which corresponds inversely with the intensity of electromagnetic radiation.

  • Can you charge more than one device on the pad at the same time?

    • Nope, this one has a single coil so won't be able to charge multiple devices at the same time.

But there will be multi-device Qi charge pad products coming later this year

  • Why does it have a "Built-in polymer battery" ?

Is that because the light detaches and is rechargeable?

    • +6

The night light is rechargeable and can be carried around for your toilet run

      • Thanks I figured as much, but wanted to confirm.

And can the code allow purchase of more than one?

        • +1

Yes I believe so, $7 flat off each item

          • @Mostly Melbourne: Ok, thanks again for the prompt reply :-)

            And is the charger included?
"Please use a USB power source with at least 5V2A and preferrably 9V2A output to achieve optimal charging speed"
The Amazon information also doesn't explicitly mention if one is or is NOT included.
(sorry for all the questions, I should have compacted them into one post, but I keep thinking of new ones)

            • +1

@oz-dave: No sorry there's no charger included, just the nightlight + base + charging cable (micro-USB). A Samsung phone charger would be ideal for this.

      • Is it waterproof, in case I drop it in the toilet?

        • +2

If you pick it up quickly you should be good

          • +1

            @Mostly Melbourne:

If you pick it up quickly you should be good

Lol, but the cool white light may become warm white by the time you pick it up.

  • Tempting!
    Thanks OP.

  • Does it support fast charging?

    • It supports 10W fast charging for compatible devices including Samsung (S6 Edge+/S7/S7 Edge/S8/S8+/S9/S9+/Note8/Note 9) and 7.5W for iPhone (8/8 Plus/X/XR/XS/XS Max). Other Qi devices that do not support 10W/7.5W fast charging will instead charge at 5W. Check if your phone is Qi enabled here: https://www.qinside.biz/en/support/qi-enabled-phones-2019

      • Any reason why Samsung s10/10+ not in the list?
        Is it NOT compatible?

        • S10/10+ are compatible too

  • Very cool new product. I've got a few of the motion sensor rechargeable night lights and they are awesome. This would be quite cool for the spare room.

  • Is it dimmable?

    • Not dimmable, only 2 settings of light, cool light and warm light

  • What is the lumen output of the light?

  • It's $39.99 now. Is there a coupon code to get this price or is it done ?

    • It says on the link:

  • Got one… a quality 10W Qi charger will cost around $30… so the light is a good bonus.

  • Is the bulb replace-able?

  • item unavailable

  • Any chance of this becoming available again?

    • More stock coming in May!
