    Got a $100 jb voucher waiting for a decent deal, but they're not going to have a huge rush on their hands at $299.

    Those who wanted this remote and were willing to part with $300 would have one already.

    If you buy the harmony hub, your phone becomes the remote. I own the Ultimate One and the honestly, my iPhone is a lot faster / more convenient to use.

          I'd much prefer the actual 'mechanical' feel of the remote and you don't really need to look at what you're pushing. Using a phone and having to launch an app wouldn't provide the same experience. Each to their own.

          I got the below from Amazon long time ago for $100 and it's great. I wouldn't spend additional $$$ on this model.

      I can't imagine how a phone is faster than a remote.

      Press a button on a remote -vs- unlock phone, open app, locate the button on screen and then press it.

    Got it when JB had a special for $199 back in 2016. It is definitely worth it for that price. But yeah, at $299 it's a massive question mark. Funny how it was a $200 off $399 deal then and now it's $180 off $479.95.
