    • I’d get pretty excited seeing a BAC of that amount on Highway Patrol.

  • Anyone else get 'Sorry! We can't seem to process your payment at this time

    Please try again later.'

    … but I see the payment authorisation in my online banking; if I go back to the egift card site the card is still in my basket.

    They've taken my money but I get no gift card.

    • They'll sort it out immediately here…

      • Unfortunately it's not so simple; Woolworths claim the transaction was blocked by my bank and they have received no funds, my bank claim they have authorised the transaction and the funds have gone. My bank helpfully suggested filing a transaction dispute to get the funds back.

        • They're quite fast in responding during business hours..

          Just curious, which bank is it?

            @cwongtech: No… not that one.

            @cwongtech: ING.

            I'll see how it looks tomorrow; hopefully the authorisation will clear by itself.

            • @Its4me: The authorisation will drop off after a few days. I remember once that it looked like I was charged, but did not receive. The pending transaction dropped off my account after about 3 days.

              You should use a credit card. Then it doesn't matter how long it takes for the authorisation to drop off, as it is just using the credit limit from a bank, not putting a lock on your actual cash.

        • it is probably only an authorisation, which will go stale after a couple of weeks. in the mean time the money will not be available

      • Same with NAB

    • Ive got the same error. Tried twice but no luck. So my bank acc and no money was taken out. Im using ANZ

    Thanks TA!

  • What is the difference with Woolies Supermarket eGift Card and WISH card?

    • +1

      WISH eGift card is accepted at all of them.

      But Dan Murphys eGift have been known to work in Woolies as well..

      Safer to just grab a WISH card :D

      • Thanks purchased for Boost mobile voucher.

        So they directly deducted the 5.5% on checkout instead of cashback from cashrewards.

        • That’s correct…

          This is not a Cashback offer. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

    Finally a reason to buy from Cashrewards after a long time.

    Background: I used to buy wish cards from cashrewards until November last year until I discovered Suncorp rewards. Although they also offer the same 5% cashback but you get cards instantaneously which is so much helpful for a lazy person like myself. Sometimes I even buy wish gift cards at Woolies self checkouts. Not to mention that Suncorp also has Coles. A couple of points for cashrewards to work on.

    • As a matter of interest only: is it just getting the extra 0.5% that makes this the winner now compared to when you used to buy in Nov from Cashrewards?

      • Just for purchasing cards I had to purchase for next couple of months. Most probably I'll go back to Suncorp after this.

        • Fair enough and was interested if such a tiny 0.5% was enough to sway somebody. Every cent counts I suppose. I do buy these all the time myself but not jumping up to buy more today just for an extra dollar or two. I should be banished from Ozbargain…ha!
