Still think you are better off paying a couple of hundred more for a i3 refurb from Apple.

  • I think this is a good deal because even if you buy a new unit and it becomes faulty in the first month chances are you'll end up with a replacement which is a refurb anyway.

    • Sorry, but your so wrong. Replacements from Apple on new iMacs are not refurbished, the provide you a BRAND NEW replacement.

  • Actually they're USED imacs, not refurbs! More than likely more than 2 years old at a minimum. I hate it when dealers make out a product to be something it clearly is not!

Would have vote +ve as the price is good, but the deceptive description gets a -ve.

    • Well I suppose technically so long as they wipe it over with a cloth it could be classed as refurbished.

      • So if you get your 4 year old ex-lease car detailed and serviced, is it considered "refurbished". These tags and descriptions are meaningless.

  • +1

you get 30 days warranty on this deal or on a 21.5" from Apple refrub 12 months on a faster machine for $300 hundred more.
    Same 20" s/h on ebay around $500

    • And you'll get warranty that will actually be worth something, ie take the machine into any Apple reseller if you ever need to use the warranty.

    • Yeah, the warranty alone is worth the extra $325. The bigger/better screen, better CPU, extra RAM and superior graphics card are a nice bonus too though.

I'm not going to neg because some people might think saving $325 is worth it, but I'm not impressed with this deals performance.

EDIT Change of heart. Since this one for $649 devliered is almost identical specs (faster but smaller HDD), that's a neg.
