This seemed to rate very popular when was on an Amazon sale just before Xmas.
Would people rate this better or worse than TCL C6US?
TCL, Soniq etc will never be as good as the top brands. I don't think paying less by a few hundred dollars is worth it if it is something you will use everyday.
I think that's an oversimplification. TCL have been improving substantially in recent years. Not long ago people would have said the same about Hisense, but I'd certainly take a 55P7 over both of these.
And I'm comparing a bottom tier Sony with upper/middle tier TCL. The TCL modern is typically a little more expensive, not cheaper. I think it's a fair comparison
If anyone has actual info comparing these I'd very much appreciate your input, but please avoid generalisations.

I have the smalker version and they aren’t much chop. Its like someone is shining s torch through the screen..decent for a bedroom tv that doesn’t get used much and pic quality isnt a big concern..
