  • Was hoping to get a Hisense P7 but it appears Bing Lee have removed all TVs from their Ebay Store. I can only find TV Accessories :(

    • +2

I think I’ve read before it’s due to them not delivering to your postcode that eBay uses to calculate it for you.

I just used a browser that’s not logged in and there’s tvs there

      • +2

        You're right. See here.

      • Well that makes some sense then as I don't have a Bing Lee nearby. I wondered what was going on.

    • +1

I just tested adding a random Sydney address as my primary address and it let me find them. Then I added a tv to cart and it said there was an error cause it still couldn’t deliver to that address. But then I chose click and collect to my local store here in the ACT and it seems to let me proceed. Hisense 55 OLED for $1,196! Do I? Haven’t asked the wife. I’ve been stalking Sony 55 x90f prices for a year but OLED for under $1200 is ridiculous yeah?

    • +1

The P7 on ebay has disappeared for me too. But I had one in my cart beforehand and the coupon applied fine.
It seems to have gone through….

EDIT: lol now its back again on ebay; showing 11 sold; which makes sense as it showed 10 half an hour ago.

    • +1

Yeah i was totally thrown by this too. I can press others links and see the TV's but there is no way i can find them myself. Searched and searched again, sorted by price, chose brand and anything else i could think of.

I was scared to post here because i thought it must be something stupid I was doing. Looks like it isn't just me.

Still can't see any TV's on their ebay store, regardless of browser or whether i'm logged into ebay or not. Weird.

Buyer beware if you're not click & collect… last time I ordered something from Bing Lee Ebay Store, it was a very bad experience. It literally took two whole weeks before the item was delivered with no communication from them through the process. They took a whole week to ship, noting the original delivery timeframe which had 2 days to go at this stage. It was delivered 5 days late. Never Again.

    • +3

5 days late and you are at Never Again. I guess it was a gift or something?

    • I ordered those USBc car chargers 2 days ago from their ebay and got confirmation of purchase then an email today to say it's shipped so I guess it's luck of the draw.

  • +1

Jack has arrived, was hoping for him to keep his hands off fridge… oh well

  • What't the max number of gift cards that can be used with a promo code?
From the website - it just says fewer?

No more than a total of $2000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers)

    • It maxes out at $1500 if using the gift cards with a coupon from memory.

      • Thanks I am trying to use 8 of them..but keep getting this msg - error codes 70049 70084
        any workarounds?

        • I had a similar problem. No workaround it as far as I am aware. Ended up using 7 x $200 gift cards and paying for the remaining amount via cash.

  • Grabbed a Bes920 ($719.20 C+C) after waiting for places to have them sold individually and not only in the duo with grinder :)

  • +1

OMG bought a fridge from The Good Guys 10% 2 hours ago. It's $300 cheaper at Bing Lee now.

    • Did you buy it online? Just call up and cancel the order.

      • No bought in store and they are closed today

    • If you bought it with credit card check your PDS. Some credit cards allow you to claim if price lowers within a certain time of purchase.

  • +3

    No sony tv's.. thay sucks

    • They’ve added them!

      • They added the x85 not x90

        • I can see both 55 and 65 x90s; $1898 and $2995 respectively

          • @Occas: Ah i see them… b8 or x90? Hard choice

            • @hippyhippy: The eternal problem!

For the last year I’ve been leaning towards the x90. My mate bought a 75” x90f which I’ll see in action next weekend, albeit without free to air which is what I really need to see as we do watch FTA every day.

I’ve read the upscaling is excellent on the Sony, as is sport, and we do watch the nrl and F1 via Foxtel (not iq4 yet) as well as Netflix and various FTA streaming.

Obviously the picture will be better with the OLED but I guess the concern of burn in with the channel logos on FTA does give me pause.

I’m a pc gamer so while I might occasionally fire up the Steam link to play in the lounge room, that would be pretty rare so gaming burn in is less of a worry.

              • @Occas: I'm in a similar position.. i already have a 55 fz .. but its a bedroom tv… the lounge room is brighter… so im not sure

  • +1

The code does not work for me…

    • Same here. I tried different products without luck.

    • same as well. what gives?

  • +1

Nice, been waiting for this one, just grabbed a Samsung - SM-T590NZKAXSA - Galaxy Tab A 10.5 Wi-Fi 32gb down from $349 to $279 click and collect.

The wired Ring stick up cam had more than 10 in stock, and just before the deal went live they pulled it and marked it as out of stock.

    • +1
        • +1

          Yeah, that sucks.
It does look dodgy because it says '5 sold' and yet the purchase history shows 7 sold.

          • @Eeples: Yes there was more than 10 in stock and they pulled the lot moments before the deal went live.

I negged the deal because of it, and everyone negged me so my downvote was removed.

            • +1

@LowRange: Yer, but, 20% off most everything else makes this a great deal. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

              • +1

                @Eeples:

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

This mentality has seen countless virgin girls sacrificed to the gods by mobs praying for řain.

        • +2

          It's in stock now.

          • @doweyy: Thanks, i did purchase one as soon as they listed them in stock but i got an email not long ago saying they have no stock and it's cancelled.

But that's nonsense as there's one on the shelf at my local store 5 minutes away, plus they are still listed as in stock on the Ebay listing.

Shonky, and i've been negged meaning everyone thinks this kind of behavior from retailers is a good thing.

            • @LowRange: You were negged because it's still a great promotion and doesn't deserve a neg.

              • @Zazer: Negative Vote

Purpose: To let others know about issues with the deal, merchant or product.

According to the FAQ my vote was perfectly valid. But at least this has demonstrated the votes on Ozbargain have no credibility at all. You get positive votes for funny comments, and negative votes for using the system for how it was designed.

                • @LowRange: Hmm, fair point. My bad then, not sure why your neg was removed.

  • Both things I want (Bosch cooktop and rangehood) I can't buy because they won't allow shipping or click and collect outside of Sydney.

    What the hell?

    • +1

Earlier I tested adding a random Sydney address as my primary address and it let me find tvs i couldn’t see with my default ACT address. Then I added a tv to cart and it said there was an error cause it still couldn’t deliver to that address. But then I chose click and collect to my local store here in the ACT and it seems to let me proceed.

      Hope that helps!

    • +1

you can, I've enquired with them previously and they were willing to ship to metro Melb for me and I just bought myself a Bosch cooktop. you just have to play around with your delivery address and set the suburb and postcode to Sydney 2000 but put your full address including suburb and postcode in your street address field.

It may work for you - worse case, they refund you back your purchase if they won't ship to your address.

    • Thanks for the replies guys.
Occas, I dug deeper into the shipping for the items I wanted. Turns out they're only available C&C from their "main" Woodville depot, and all of their other stores weren't selectable for C&C.
So I've selected to C&C from there, and I'll ring them up tomorrow so see if they'll truck it up the freeway to Newcastle.

Worst case I'll cancel the order or go for a drive down and pick it up. Worth it to save $496 on the cooktop and rangehood purchase.

      • That’s a bit annoying but hopefully it works out for you!

        • Thanks, and yeah I hope so too. Just happy to save a bit of money anywhere I can. $25k+ on this new kitchen is killing me.

        • +1

For future reference (just in case anyone is wondering) I did order using a Sydney postcode, selecting their "Central" Warehouse for click and collect, and a quick phone call to Bing Lee customer service was all it took to get them to reroute the goods to my local Bing Lee store for click and collect.

I'm pretty happy with the Bing Lee service so far actually. They were even answering emails on Good Friday.

  • +1

Put the Sony tvs back on ebay Bing Lee… ;(

    • Maybe it does come down to geographical locations.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Sony-KD-55X7500F-55-X75F-4K-…

      Works for me fine.

      • +1

Sorry, should have said the 'good' Sony tvs lol. I can see those ones but not the X900F
If they put the X900F back on then it'll be the cheapest I've ever seen them since they're matching JB Hi-Fi's prices atm

    • 55 x9000f pls thx

    • They’ve added them!

      • Yep but Jack's been through them now
$2396 yesterday on the Bing Lee website, now $2396 is after the 20% code is applied. Nothing special here, was $1998 from Bing Lee before

I'm not even going to bother anymore, Jack is OP(overpowered)

        • God it sh#%s me how everyone keeps getting away with it. I’m surprised the Hisense 55 OLED didn’t get jacked. It’s under $1200. I’m half tempted but the lack of real reviews and rumours it’s a 1st gen panel don’t fill me with confidence.

  • +1

Pfft there’s so much that’s been removed/ not listed.

    • +2

Yes, i negged the deal because of it and everyone negged me and removed my vote. So you cant say anything bad about this deal.

  • LAST ONE SONY A9F $4995 gone today….
Why binglee dont have many stock…..

    • I assume that’s a 55? They’ve now added 65 A9F and 55 A8F

  • No over priced Dyson hair dryer damn
