Is there any way of getting this to WA? Finally at a reasonable price but the NSW delivery is a killer.

Yep. Click and collect and drive it back.

      • Hahaha yeah that’s an option.

      • I did this for the last deal haha (to Bris)

    • Have a courier pick it up on your authority possibly? Probably end up being more expensive that just buying one there, as well as much more hassle.

  • Have to wait for it to below $2000

    • Never will happen.

It will when 8k becomes more affordable.

Why would anyone buy an 8K TV?

          • +1

@Ryballs: That's what everyone said about 4k a few years ago

            • +1

@brendanm: no one will buy 8k. free tv channels arent even 1080p yet. its gonna end up like 3D.

              • @Gerry H: Yet people still buy 4k TVs. I was one of the ones that said 4k is stupid, now I hqv one. Who bothers with FTA anymore anyway.

        The year was 2030…

    • At this rate of price drops and more OLED competition on the market, it wouldn't surprise me.

    • Skynet would have taken over by then

    • this is as low as oled will get. only improvements from now on. they'll never drop the price below this because its very affordable and they are moving loads of units.

6 months ago I paid 2k for a 55 inch one..At that time everyone said it was bargain.

  • Got one of these TV's from Bing Lee last time. Great store, great tv highly recommend it.

  • Are the LGs no longer the leader in OLEDs? Always thought this is what I'd get, but seems the Panasonic's and Sony's are improving

    • Aren't they all using LG panels anyway?

      • Yes but the software that decodes, processes and renders the video is different which leads to different strengths.

eg LG is better for games because of delay, Sony is better for movies because of processing 23.976FPS into 60 better.

        • Which one would you recommend? I don't play any games. Have a 5yr old Changhong which is going strong… thanks
