  • Will this be capable of running triples OK? I note 2 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 DP?

    • running what res ?

      • 1080p. I'm not concerned about the fps, just whether you can run triples OK with the ports on this card?

        • ohh, no problem then

          • @dcep: can you comment on 3x1440p?

            • +2

@KYoohu: yes no problem , you can have 4x 1440p displays as long as they fit the output interface on this card - 2 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 DP

but only game on 1x 1440p res or lower, of course

        • But if you are not concerned about fps and you care only about 3x1080p, even a standard intel CPU with embedded GPU would be able to do that.

          This card is for gaming.

          • @netsurfer: i guess he got triples setup but only game on the middle single screen

            • @dcep: this whole time i thought i needed minimum RTX 2070.
reality is that i only use one monitor to play for simple games like LoL, d3, hearthstone.
gtx 1660 seems good coming from an r9 380

just can't believe gpu can go above $1,000, mindblown… a lot has change.

              phunkydude thanks

  • This any better than rog rx580 8gb?

  • Pulled the trigger. No shopback though :(
Hopefully the card is quiet enough, have never had an ASUS card before so not sure of their reputation.

    • Let us know how it goes, please

  • Where is the heat sink?
