  • Does set up a new account works?

    • +1

Wish to know the trick too. Is the uber eats determine new account by address or phone number?

      • +3

eventually your address will get blocked

        • +6

Is that why people get uber deliveries to the local park?

          • @salmon123: Or work place

          • +1

@salmon123: Yes or next door neighbour lol "wait in the car". Also your card eventually gets blocked so you'll need like prepaid cards or something

            • @[Deactivated]: I think my neighbouring apartment building has an extra 500 apartments that council doesn't know about either … it's notorious for crime too, I keep having to cancel my cards every few days.

            • @[Deactivated]: Prepaid cards work with Uber I tried

  • Does this stack with shopback?

    • It's not listed as a coupon on Shopback so no, it doesn't

  • +1

If memory serves right, each phone may permit 3-4 accounts, after that your phone will be blocked for using or attempting to use any promotional codes, you may still continue to use their app. They detect your phone number/IMEI number/CR details to prevent abuse of multiple accounts. Only option is a new device, and jailbreak doesn’t work. You may call them to unblock it. Whether they do it is up to their discretion.

    • +1

This is correct, each device and cc let's you use 3 accounts. After that you'll get a 'this account is not eligible for promotions'.

      • What if you use a different CC - but the same device?

    • They detect your phone number/IMEI number/CR details to prevent abuse of multiple accounts. Only option is a new device

Would be interesting to see how they do this on desktop browsers (no IMEI) or wifi-only tablets (no IMEI either)

        Mac address

          Mac address

Do you know that they do this for a fact? I doubt it's a reliable way of doing it.

        • Impossible to take advantage of the system, doesn’t matter what skills you have, Uber has well planned out everything. Doing it on mac, pc and phone etc just won’t work. Oh yes your imei is linked to the number as wellevery number that is registered.

          • @DEvok: I just ordered strawberry shakes. Working :)

            • @[Deactivated]: Yes it will work on your pc same concept couple time before your restricted.

Uber has well planned out everything

            Lol

          • +1

@DEvok: Lol no. It's worked for me, there are ways…

      • +1

There is no reliable method in doing this but one way is to take a combination of variables such as cookies with UUIDs, IP Addresses etc..

If you want to learn more you can take a look at this https://panopticlick.eff.org/static/browser-uniqueness.pdf where these guys have taken this topic it to another level.

  • I'm sure this comes up weekly

  • Doesnt work for me, never bought anything

Thanks OP. Gonna order some Lebanese from punchbowl (a dish of foul and a dish of fatteh)

  • Thanks OP. Just ordered strawberry shakes.

I received one from Sydney Central station, code is slightly different.

    • Do you still have the code? I will update the deal with it since it seems UberEats may have disabled the current one on the deal

Time to use all those amaysim Sim cards and emails created for ebay international

  • didnt work with the referral code

  • Works for a brand new customer
    New phone
    New email
    New phone number
    New bank card

    • New phone - $29
      New email - $0
      New number - $2 (?)
New bank card - 10mins on the phone
Saving $15 on ubereats order - priceless.

      • not necessary. i paid with same paypal account. I think my address is about to be black listed.

Oh well, deliver to offices maybe?

      • sim cards are also free

  • Dinner sorted
    Thanks C:

    • For those wondering, this worked - account with no orders

Interestingly, I must have signed up with that account using my referral code, the $10 (referral) worked but before I ordered, I added the code (listed above).
I ordered using the $10 off (referral) since I couldn't select which code to use. Immediately after that order, I chucked a few things into my cart and was able to order again with $15 off which was automatically applied at checkout.

      • Make sure you apply it to your account before you use your referral credit

Still can’t believe how there are still people ignorant enough to think this still works after so much feed back, no It won’t work regardless on a computer or a 486… if they banned your adress idk how you could even do this unless you order it to your friend place, just plane common sense… they say this but where’s the evidence or it didn’t happen, keep dreaming.

  • WIll this cover the delivery fee or do you have to pay for it?

    • Yes it does - it did for me

  • Cheers OP :)

    Promo no longer available??

    • +2

Can anyone else please confirm if they are getting the same error message?

    • That’s pretty poor of Uber towards the people who actually were handed the promo. What a good way for them to turn away potential customers by not sticking to their word.
