    I also cant keep up with all these sims XD!! as we speak, I have 3 belong sims, 2 kogans, 6 boosts, 4 telstras, 1 amaysim. They are just the visual ones in front of me

    • You should be fine - today and yesterday I had my January amaysim cashrewards transactions approved.
      Would like a Rep to confirm if possible.

      As per the updated terms on site, this is a new amaysim requirement. From March 14 2019, Cashback is limited to once per Cashrewards account and for the lifetime of that account. This applies to all partners.

        Maybe ask the web developer if it's easy enough to disable the "Shop Now" button for people that have already claimed an Amaysim deal. It might reduce the chances of future conflict and prepare the platform for partners that implement the same rules.

        If the grey area of having a pending but potentially unapproved deal exists, then even a note stating "You have already claimed the limited number of promotions for this partner. Please check the t&cs." could help.

        In contracts, it's also a good idea to keep previous terms and conditions. A user can argue that the terms were updated today after the deal was already claimed.

  • Ok cheers OP, not bad deal still for sim hoppers, but no good for those like myself on a plan looking to purchase just for the $cashback.

  • This may be a dumb question, but even before I purchase the sim it's already asking whether I want to keep my existing no. and DOB as well as asking me to agree to authorise them to transfer my number over.

    Obviously this is required to transfer my number but I just want to confirm that it won't be doing it immediately the moment I pay for the sim? Logically it doesn't make sense as I'm yet to even receive/activate the sim but I'd rather not take my chances.

    Would the option to transfer no. still be available if I simply click "get a new number" while I'm purchasing the Sim and then later have the option to transfer my number when I actually activate the sim?

      You put your number in at purchase and then activate when you like. It's not ported the second you click buy.

      You won't have the option to port in if you select new number.

  • I'm with Telstra.. could use this to Port my number to Amaysim for a month, then purchase the Boost deal to port over to. $0 overhead and have data/calls for a month.

    Issues with Telstra to boost port. So this could help out anyone wanting to do the same.

    Anyone know when you need to activate this SIM card by?

      You have to outlay $40 in the hope of getting $40 back. Big risk if cash rewards doesn’t track.

      Personally, I’d get the $4.90/40GB Kogan SIM if you need to port out for a month.

    So for all the people who have used cash back for Amaysim before, does that mean these deals are no longer useful unless you create a new Cash Rewards account (and email) each time?

    • I think so. My 2nd purchase for Amaysim through cash rewards was not tracked

          Even if that was possible I wouldn’t think it was worth all that hassle just for a couple of dollars every so often.

      • Its also not really worth the effort unless ur extremely broke and doing everything u can with ur time…keeping track of so many things will do ur head in.

        • It's not really a huge burden if you basically ditch your existing CR account (after cashing it out) and open a new one periodically, i.e. all activity goes into the new one so you're not trying to login to/feed multiple accounts.

          The main issue is it being against the ToS so potentially after N accounts they might just ban you based on your bank account details.

          In all likelihood though Amaysim will probably relax the new condition when they realise it's going to put a hole in their subscriber numbers. The current move is the right one for the company as many of us SIM sluts are not the sort of customers they should be spending money acquiring. But that doesn't necessarily stop some marketing manager doing silly things to meet their personal KPIs. ;)

    • Hi. I've checked your account after you contacted me via PM. You made your amaysim purchase on Feb 21 and your transaction is scheduled to be approved on May 27 as per the promised approval date on your CR account. Not sure why you consider this to be a waste of time, as nothing is overdue.
