Bought a Google Home Hub yesterday as a gift from office works for $198, went and returned it this morning because I wanted to price match so I could get a gift receipt at JBHifi. When I got to JBHifi and looked up the price it had dropped by $21, pretty neat.

    What's the limit of these? My partner wants podcasts & afl in the kitchen. Sources of afl could be tv (we also have a hdhomerun if it helps), telstra afl app or foxtel

      this is a smart device with a screen, limited on what can be shown on the screen, so don't think it can do what you want it to do

    It can cast t.v. via freeview app, but not afl, must be a rights thing, as also cant listen to afl games via google mini etc when I've asked it.
    I use it at the brekky bar mainly for music, and for watching the news during dinner, as having young kids I havnt eaten in front of my tv in my carpeted dining room for years!

        Haha well it's a lounge/dining in one, so that's why it's carpeted. When the kids are a bit older and stop falling over I will rip carpet up as there are floorboards underneath.

      Well it was $21 but I didn't really do it for the price, I did it for the gift receipt allowing the person I bought this for to exchange it for something else in the store (JB has quite a bit more stuff the recipient might be interested in).
