I've been looking out for a deal on a DeathAdder Elite for a few months, and this is a pretty great price.

For clarity, the Elite is the model with two extra buttons below the scroll wheel + the multi-coloured LEDs.
The Essential (which is usually around this price) does not have these things, and is equivalent to the 2013 model.
The thumbnail image is the Essential (and is wrong). Everything else on the page points to it being the Elite.

Unfortunately for me, I just bought one yesterday through eBay's PCLICK sale, but hopefully soneone else can utilise this deal instead.

Nice mouse, my only problem with it is the scroll wheel has developed a squeak when you scroll down. Very annoying when scrolling down webpages.

LOL, usually does the trick on doors but unfortunately the wheel is plastic.

    • I think its pretty normal for a mouse to squeak.

sadly, IMO Razer don't really make quality products. The DA has a tendency to wear out on the left button rather quickly, and over time, you can't hold left click button anymore, it starts to "stutter" when you try to hold and drag. You can check youtube videos to fix it, you have to remove the shell, then see that the plastic tip has sort of "melted" or grinded off from after clicking many times. This is a huge design oversight and something that I never had to do on a Logitech.

Yep, I had two of these cark it the same way & both their replacements lasted less than 3 months before dying too.

  • Got one to replace my Deathadder Chroma that is starting to fail after quite a few years. Thanks OP.

    • And in a few years it'll fail again…

      • I'll chance it for 56 bucks. If it does then I might consider swapping to opposition.

  • Razer is the only brand of optical mice I've ever owned that break. And they seem to break easily. I have a few cheapie Gigabyte mice with similar functions that have lasted to this day. Razer taught me a lesson never to throw money at a mouse just cause it looks a little cooler.

  • Got mine today. Some nice little changes from the Chroma. Working well!
