Can you legaly use these anywhere in oz?

    • +15

Yes, from your loungeroom to the kitchen

    • +2

Have you ever opened a link here before?

  • +1

They also have a pro version. Is it worth extra for Pro version?

    • -1

It still has all the same problems as the v1 just a larger battery and display

  • +1

Seems really cheap for the pro version. Have to be careful of the fakes on eBay though

    • +1

Agree, too cheap for Pro version, smells fishy to me.

    • +1

How do I know if it’s a fake? Would that be covered by PayPal?

      • +1

The fakes don’t have a logo on them. They try and tell you it’s an “Australian” version. Also won’t connect to the app etc

    • Yeah I bought mine a month ago, came a fake M365. So I asked for a refund. After bargaining, the seller was willing to drop $200 off just to let me keep it. $350 for an electric scooter works pretty much the same, minus the wifi connection, I'd say it's not too bad.

      • Only issue I had with the fakes was not being able to load custom firmware

        • yeah, since they don't have wifi connectivity… but what can the firmware do? I didn't research into it.

      • Sorry can you clarify the seller of your fake. Was it uniphone?

      • Sorry can you clarify the seller of your fake. Was it uniphone?

        • no sorry, I got mine from tpshop.

  • Does it come with free "200W" stickers?

    • -1

It's an electric scooter not an electric bicycle.

      • +1

he's having a dig at the illegal nature of these scooters in most states in Australia (only legal in QLD). Only scooters at or below 200W and a certain speed limit is considered legal.

  • +1

    $665.10 for the Pro

  • By the look of it, it looks like normal scooter, do u reckon police officer will stop u if u ride a scooter? I saw three people in Sydney riding this. One at Barangaroo, two having it with them at train platform…

    • It's pretty big unit, so I doubt the cops will not see it as an electric.

      • Just ran into someone in Canberra cbd and they have been riding around for a couple of months… no problem.

  • I want Ninebot balance Scooter

  • seems too cheap for the pro version but they appear to have a physical store in sydney.

If real, its a really good price.

  • +3

Price was too good for the pro, couldn’t resist 🤷‍♂️. Hope it’s the real deal.

    • +4

sticks fingers in ears I don't need the pro I don't need the pro I don't need the pro.

  • A cool gadget, but what is the utility of these?

For $500, I could get a nice lightweight folding bicycle that goes faster with not much effort (not that I can't use a bit of exercise!).
And the bike is legal just about anywhere. More reliable.

It is the same question I asked when the Segway came out. Cool to ride as a novelty, but ultimately has few niches.

    • +2

You won't get sweaty. Folds up to a nicer package that's easier to drag/carry around.

      • I don't get sweaty pedalling moderately.
But now that you mention it, I was in Beijing in summer, and the humidity was so oppressive.
Even at commute times, even mild effort would result in overheating. So I can understand the popularity of anything electric there.
I guess Sydney can be the same at times?

        • Queensland. Swamp crotch mid stride of your first step is guaranteed in summer 😂

    • They're fun as fck is my main reason for owning one.

    • They are much smaller than a bicycle, easier to put in the boot of the car or under my desk at work.

Also smaller to take on bus or tram when folded up. (Mine is a different brand that folds up much better than M365)

  • +1

    Could be legit

RRP in mainland China is 598 AUD for the pro

665 is a relatively small margin when considering an importers costs and shipping but it could be from a cancelled commercial order or something similar.

  • Only 1 pro left now and they put the price up $20. Been ozbargained I think!

  • +1

    Thanks @tmusic!
I just brought a Pro. Fingers crossed it’s an original. I’m thinking the pro version is too new for there to be copies around.

    • +3

I sent message to seller and he confirmed saying "yes,if not 2000 dollar refund" lol

    • Can confirm it is legit. Enjoy your scooter!

      • Will do. Should be coming tomorrow or thurs.
Incessantly I paid $674.10 (it does seem too cheap)

  • +1

Thanks OP. Pro version is ordered with $20 premium. damn.

  • +1

Damn, missed out. My m365 busted and would've loved to replace it with the pro version… Fingers crossed for more stock

    • How did it get busted ?

      • Must have gone over an uneven paved surface.

      • +4

My motor always made a strange whirring noise at low speed. About a month ago the motor broke when it was regenerating power while riding down a steep hill in Brisbane. It started juddering and then became very hard to move. Something broke inside and it now makes a rattling sound, is hard to push and doesn't deliver power. PayPal just sided in my favour as the seller wasn't replying to any messages for warranty despite the ad stating a one year warranty. I am receiving a full refund which could pay for the pro version. (Here's a video of the broken sound it makes now https://youtu.be/TFFH9cty58Y)

For those hesitant, these scooters are not only fun, they are also so practical in and around Brisbane. I used to ride a bicycle to work, then a pedal assist bike and then the scooter. In the summer, bicycle wasn't fun at all because of sweat arriving to work and quite slow overall (mountain bike). Electric bike (qicycle - using at the moment since m365 broke) is very easy, still basic exercise but not enough to break a real sweat. Scooter is so easy and really, lazy mode, though fun and faster than the bike.

I've ordered a new motor in the meantime and will hope to pro goes on sale again.

  • M365 Pro now $799
    ?price error

  • Missed out! can anyone explain why a seller would have all feedback or purchases kept private?

    • ? I can see all their feedback. Its only the purchase date and item desc that's private for me.

      • ah, my bad. I can see it now too, thanks.

  • Back in stock

    • Drop down option for pro is sold out.

      • Right! My bad.

  • -4

Perhaps this deal should be marked "Qld Only" and those states where public use is not illegal…

  • +1

    Bring back the Pro!

  • Also need to consider the shipping costs to send back to seller and return to yourself if you are not in same state as the seller. could costs over hundred!!

  • I can't seem to get the PKOALA code to work for this. Says the "This code can't be applied to your order." Am I missing something here?

  • +2

PRO is back in stock. Albeit with 15-25 day shipping from China.

  • I will be interested to here from the people that bought the pro to know if it’s genuine or a clone. Seems really cheap considering they are $850 from Banggood and can’t ship to Australia.

    • I don't think there are any Pro clones (yet). I expect this to be genuine.

  • +6

Got my pro today. Can confirm legit. 2 day shipping to Brisbane from Sydney. Very happy.

    • How do you find it? Too heavy now or still ok?

      • +1

With more weight comes speed and longevity. A compromise I can deal with. I never need to fold it or take on public transport. But if I did it's not that heavy for a Viking like myself.

  • jacked up the price to $530 now

  • Looks like the M365 PRO option is no longer listed. Only vanilla M365 now.

    • PRO Option is still available but shipping from China in 15-15 Days

      • I can't see any M365 available. I think uniphoneptyltd has sold out?

  • +3

It's delivered today and can confirm it's legit.

    • fancy, enjoy!

  • +2

    Received mine, Yep fully legit!!!
Already had it out for 20kms last night. God u get some strange looks on these things :)

  • +6

hi uniphone here😊, the image right now is not the pro version, pro version is sold out in one night lol i mark the price too low, because i made a mistake on the pric, and then sold 10 out in the price as low as 749 😭(I was watching the Avengers), lol we are basiclly losing money, and by the way we never fool our customer, and later on when pro is restocked, we will sell on our own website, hopfully can make a good deal for you guys, and at the end, ✋thanks for ppl supported us✋

    • it'll be good if you can do the deal again, lol

    • +2

Hi Uniphone, thanks for the great deal! I managed to order one with shipping from China. Do you have any more information on how much longer it will be until those who ordered from your China options receive theirs? Are the scooters delivered straight from China to my home, or does it go to you first?

      • Yeah any shipping updates? 😊

      • It will ship to me in containers over the sea 🚢, and after the clearence,it will arrive in our warehouse🏪, then I will ship it to everyone who have already placed order on one of our platform ebay or uniphone.com.au through local courier。
        benefit of doing this:
        1.quality control
2.no import tax for you guys
        3.local warrenty and customer service

        • +1

Do you know roughly how much longer it'll be until the units arrive in Australia? Is the quoted timeframe on eBay accurate?

  • +1

Loving my m365 Pro, so much fun. THanks for a great deal and crazy fast delivery (bearly 2 days to Bris)! Wife loves it too so might be back for another soon.. :)

  • Using the "Phoenix" code this comes down from $789 to $670.65 for pre order of the PRO.

    I couldnt resist :)

  • How did you get 789? It's 799 minus 119.85 or am I missing something?

    • Uni phone has two listing. I can't post the link but just search and you will see a version for $789

  • +1

I bought one yesterday now the long wait.

  • +1

Just an update for those waiting on delivery from China. I contacted Uniphone on eBay. Just got told they were expected to arrive in Australia around June 7th, with deliveries being carried out immediately after. So expect to take delivery of you new scooter around 10th June.

    • uhh what… their ebay store quoted "M365 PRO SHIP From china 15-25 days" and that was back in late April. From your numbers it seems like it will be >40 days :/

      • Yep, I'm disappointed too but even with that wait, still the cheapest Pro M365 around…
