        Show us please.

Yes please show us the certification.
I will buy some once this info is supplied…

I vote up this comment. Please demonstrate local RCM approval

@sky-zemismart: Is that simply for the AU plug or the actual device? Stop beating around the bush and post a link to a legitimate document.

            • @sky-zemismart: I have no idea what that code is meant to mean.
I asked last time for the certification too… Sounds like you don't have it…
This should be made clear to all buyers

          • -1

@fefris: bro, why u do that?

            • +1

@sky-zemismart: no local certification. you clearly have no idea what is required for RCM approval and are happy to break the law….

you need to demonstrate a RCM certificate from a certifying body.

stating some random number does not make your products certified.

show a certificate. you have a RCM mark in the product images on your site, but no evidence of local approval.

  • Does this support Hue Hub or is that a different version?

    • all support

  • how can I enter for the free sample? interested but the cost is too high for me to risk on purchasing units if they are not what i'm after

    • Haha not sure if serious

      • i read "One free chance to get one sample
        requiremts
        1.hot comment in this deals
2.do a video after receiving it(share to YouTube)"

worth a shot. I've been looking out for zigbee downlights since I've been running home assistant but am skeptical of their apparent australian certification.

        • chance

          Yeah, nah.

I bought 8 of these in a previous deal.

Light is ok, but beware the inbuilt wifi module in the light is very very weak. I can barely pic a signal up 2 rooms away and as a result i can't link a group of them up together as the weaker ones just keep dropping out and can't be added to the app. Solution is wifi repeater which could end up expensive if you have multiple rooms.

Some lights seem to have a stronger wifi signal than others (QC issue??). No 5GHZ only 2.4 supported.

As a comparison my Nvidia Shield gets full speed NBN at 100mbps at 2 rooms away and sits directly below my lights without any issue.

Tried hitting up tech support and they gave me their wechat name but didn't accept my request to add.

I think you purchased the wifi ones and the ones listed for sale here are the ZigBee ones.
Btw I own two wifi ones and they run perfectly. I am running a high end ubiquiti setup though.

Correct, i just realised mine were the wifi ones and not Zigbee as i wanted integration with google home. Unfortunately very poor picking up wifi.

Doesn't change the poor technical support though.

          • @KRM123: You could look into the cheaper mesh wifi solutions out recently - like the $100 Tenda Nova (with added call-to-home snooping included).

Not a solution obviously, but maybe a half decent workaround.

        • Yep exact same ones I have.

      These are zigbee not wifi

    • what u bought is wifi downlight

  • How much is shipping? I tried a dummy order but I could not get past the address form. Those "please select" boxes did nothing but stopped me.

Can you upload this somewhere so we can all see it clearly… And perhaps link it afterwards in your original post.

yes please upload, nothing secret if you have an actual certificate.

  • Do these work with Google Home?

  • +2

These may be great lights for all I know… but I get a bad vibe when WeChat and WhatsApp is advertised with regards customer support.

  • i havent had the best results trying to control 6 lights in the same room, some of them always seem to drop out when i try to group them in the hui app

    • use smart life or tuya app

What is the recommended safe operating temperature window?
I'm in Qld and my roof cavity hits well over 60 degrees.
Usually products like this detail this information in the specs…
Yours don't list this spec and also conflict with your own listing… eg 650lm listed in specs at the top vs 700-800lm listed in the pics.

  • More spam?

If you aren't concerned by the mixed reviews you should be concerned about hiding certification behind WeChat/WhatsApp messages. That's so sketchy…
