Due to inflation (which admittedly is pretty low/zero right now) you'd expect it to increase rather than decrease in price (in two years I'd assume 3-4%). You're probably making the common mistake of assuming that prices will fall due to technological improvements, unfortunately that's not really the case that much in the kitchen appliances area as there's not generally that much tech in them. Alternatively if there were a newer model you'd assume a brief period of discounting would ensue to clear stock of the old one.
