  • Nice, I already picked one of these up for $16 last month and very happy with it. Works perfect for Smash Bros on Switch.

    • Glad to hear that this ethernet adapter works well for you.

Any need for help, please feel free to contact us.

  • USB 2.0 to 100Mbps, such a vintage product

    • How many places have a internet connection over 100Mbps?

      • singapore ;)

      • +1

        Home networking?

      • my home runs at gigabit speed - go figure

      • Any half decent router is gigabit capable these days, and usb 3 to gigabit ethernet adaptors are cheap, even cheaper this this.

        • No one really answered what I said though. Sure this is probably not useful to someone with a home network/home server/NAS etc. But if using to stream online content or not worried about local stuff there's not many homes in Australia with internet over 100Mbps and this would be fine to use then.

          • @deelaroo: Yes this vintage product would work fine, but even allowing for this restricted use case the price is nothing special.

  • +4

    yeah pricy and old

  • Will it work with Google Chromecast?

  • So basically, if you have a device without an Eth port, but it does have a USB port, then you can use this device to get the device connected to network ?
Is that how it is ?

    • Yes.

    • As long as it supports it

      • What supports what ?
        Please elaborate

        • the operating system has to support the device with drivers. That is why you dont get the cheap chinese ones as the drivers wont be supported

  • anyone know if this will work with my Surface pro 4 which only have a USB 3.0 port?

Edit: any recommendation for a good USB 3.0 to gigabit ethernet adapter?

    • Here
Also get the added bonus of 3 additional ports :^)

      Only $16.78

      • Thanks mate. what kind of transfer speed have you experienced with this unit? Does it get warm in use?

        • Never used it but been considering buying one or a USB C one in order to use the Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol.

You could always pm the seller and ask.

My assumption is that it would be able to achieve gigabit transfer speeds but I could be wrong.

          • +1

@CC123: I see. Sorry I thought you owned this device. Thanks for the suggestion however.

    • Hi Jeeg, this usb 2.0 ethernet adapter can be compatible with usb 2.0 port, but will only reach to 100Mbps at max.
If you're looking for a usb 3.0 to 1000Mbps ethernet adapter, you can search the following link as a reference.

  • its only 100mb tho, if you get a 1GB you will get atleast 200mb transfer via usb 2

  • $23 for gigabit version

  • Anyone know if it works with the Mi Box 3 please?

    • Hi friend, UGREEN usb 3.0 ethernet adapter cab support Mi Box 3(Android 6.0) and Xiao Mi Box Strong version(MIUI 1.5.33.
Here is the link for your reference.

      • Thanks for the reply. Are there any deals on that one please?

  • I'd love to know why the official Nintendo ones (overpriced I know) aren't so readily available anymore?

I've had similar products die in no time before with me, likewise other countless cheap eBay junk. Normally I just let the sellers get away with it, but recently I've caught them up on it especially when it fails initially.
