The code applies to all Amaezon Echo products. I just tried it on Echo Show and it worked.

And they still have a free Hue bulb on the Zigbee capable units - Echo Show and Echo Plus.

And Cashrewards for another 10% - although I think that's 10% off the ex. GST price AFTER the other discount - so about 7-8%.

Echo Dot is already on sale, so it won't accept the code :(

      • Yeah that's an odd one, that's changed this morning - I think they're still messing with it.

        Was: $74.00
        Price: $44.00
        Deal Price: $59.00

Adding it to cart, it shows up at $44 so that's more than 20% off anyway.

    20% off Amazon Echo

    Thanks.

This is a great deal for Me and Frankie and Jimmy and some Italian guy…

    • +1

I see all the One Nation supporters are here negging because of the Italian guy…

  • Didn’t work on an Echo Dot

  • Is there tic tac trick for this? :-D

Echo Show for $239.20 delivered is the real bargain here.

    • what are you using it for? Trying to convince myself i need one.

I have the gen 1. Weather, music, shopping lists, purchasing from Amazon (can't do that anymore though on gen 1…), shows a photo slideshow as the background, watch Prime Video on it while making dinner.

If I had the money at the moment I would be upgrading right now. I cannot see it being this cheap again except maybe on Prime Day, Black Friday or when a newer model comes along.

        • It is a solid upgrade - better sound, better and bigger screen, better software, better not-ass-ugly.

Since they buried the hatchet a bit with Google, there will probably be a native YouTube app soon too.

          Tempting.

    • Totally agree! I just pulled the trigger after sitting on the fence for months. Hopefully it'll sound good enough to replace my unwieldy Sonos Play 3 + Echo Dot combination in the kitchen.

  • How is this better than google home?

Confirms that it works on Echo PLUS 1st Gen, brings price down to $79.20 - shame no free Hue Bulb with this one - Is there any advantage in me having an additional echo plus in house- does a second zigbee hub offer any additional benefits or should I just go for echo at same price ?

    • +1

Increased Zigbee coverage? I was thinking of getting a second Zigbee controller as I have front garden lights that are Alexa controlled and don't always respond.

  • Unfortunately not working for me on an Echo Show :(

    • +1

I take that back. The white isn't, but the black one is…

      • Strange, I just bought a white (sandstone) Echo Show and it worked with the voucher and free Hue bulb
