    Pass.

You consider that angry? Seems like such an android user thing to say…

    • +10

It’s just opinions people have which I have noticed tend to clog up the comments.
Just trying to reduce conflict & passive aggressive behaviour is all.

    • Bahahahaha.

Only a numpty would say that Apple users are angrier than Android users.

  • Not sure why this is listed as only valid tomorrow… this is the current price, and has been for at least a week. Also, Officeworks has the iPhone7 for $639, so you can't get the 5% discount.

    • Damn just checked OW price. I thought it was a good price though. Family member paid $830 (JB agreed to price-beat), although I sold their old device at webuy for ~$250.

  • If it were 8's i'd be more keen since not fond of the X design/feel.

I'd OW it as well but stuck with JB vouchers :(

  • It's ridiculous they still cost that much.

  • +1

    Not starting tomorrow

The same prices for weeks now

    • +1

Ok removed start date. Today’s Junkmail, so thought it was some kind of mother’s day sale.
It seems I need to be more active in watching prices..

  • +4

iPhone 6S 32GB is the same price at Telstra store with free delivery

iPhone 7 128GB is $749 delivered from OW

So no bargains can be found in this post. Either cheaper or the same prices elsewhere but you still got 5 votes..surprise..surprise :)

    • +1

First time posting from Junkmail prices.
I saw that deal for the Fenix 5S for $399 on the Junkmail, thought it was a mother’s day sale.
I’ll keep the post up, as I still think it’s a better & safer than the frequent 2nd hand / refurbished options.

      • Okay..junk deal from junk mail then…

        • +1

As per the rules, I removed the price-beat notes in the description & the price of the 32GB iPhone 7, as the OW dealis posted & still valid.

      • Sounds like a good deal on the Fenix 5S.

  • +1

    No plus version…

    • 32GB storage is a joke these days too.

  • 6s has been at this price for quite some time now. Infact HN had it for 398 last week so if someone is not in rush and wants 6s, better wait for price to fall below 400. Note that since this is Telstra specific, it may include $30 Telstra prepaid card.

    • +1

Yeah this was kind of an impulsive post.
Wonder how much more they will drop in price though. Thinking of removing this post.
Another hour wasted by poor decision making, sigh.

      • +4

Relax. This post gave a place for everyone to compare their best deals, so was useful.
Not up voting, but a helpful post.

  • Got the 7 128gb for my daughter from JB for $726 a few weeks ago.

As others have said 'cool story bro'.
Hopefully she won't get ridiculed at the playground or bus stop with her 'old' iPhone… Is it laggy!

      • -1

Hopefully she won't get ridiculed at the playground or bus stop with her 'old' iPhone… Is it laggy!

The ridicule Android users unabashedly hand out while they pocket an absolute sh1t-show of an Android abomination is quite entertaining.

Bashter is probably happy to hold onto a phone that holds it value far longer than any other brand, actually receives security updates, also receives day one OS updates, secure environment, with their data not on sold to advertisers.

        • -1

Nuttin' to do with it being Apple, it was a 'joke' about it being old, and if you're Not a newbie to Apple's practices, they premeditatedly slowed down the phones via soft ware "UPGRADE"so they became 'laggy'and their loyal customers felt they NEEDED to buy a new one because their current OLD phone was now too slow.

          • @ozf1: The slowing down of the processor was to stop the devices from unexpectedly rebooting due to too high power draw from a deteriorated battery. While that fix was a sh1t-show as well as the communication was terrible, it had merit and a point.

Apple acknowledged in December that it had intentionally slowed iPhones with degraded batteries through software updates to avoid sudden shutdown problems, but denied it had ever done anything to intentionally shorten the life of a product.

The company later apologised for its actions and reduced the cost of battery replacements. It also added battery health information to iOS and allowed users to turn off the slowing down of the iPhone’s processor.

Not much reporting on the iPhone SEs that had the same issue, which I had but they replaced the phone for me on the spot.

Samsung got done the exact same way.

  • Really don’t get the point in buying something that has a immediate resell value of 350-450 (128gb)

    • -5

I got a 'cool story bro' story for you then.
I bought a suit for just under $1k on special MJ Bale, I went to the opshop and they offered me $50.00 my friend offered $300.00.
That's what I get for buying something then planning on reselling it 'immediately'.

Disclaimer, certain parts of story have been fabricated to make a point. Regardless of its importance.

      • Wow your amazing 🙄

  • -1

u can get a s9 plus for lower. apple can keep the price up because isheep keep supporting them.

    • +2

Wait. You can get a crappier phone for less? Who would’ve thunk it.

      🙄

      • s9 plus worse than iphone 7? something only an isheep can say

  • I know 3 people who have an iPhone 7.
One of them calls it ancient because it's so slow.
Another one is dying to upgrade because their home button and power button don't work and the battery doesn't even last the day.
The third one has just spent around $200 in repairs.

Funnily enough, 2 out of these three people will still buy another iPhone. Why?

    • +1

Most like iOS and resale value

      • Also should've mentioned that they don't want to pay for a new one so will most likely go second hand.

Now, I'm not turning this into an Android vs iOS debate but would people actually prefer a second hand used iPhone over a new (Android) phone?
Can't be much resale value selling it third hand..

Leaving software differences aside (I've got my preference) I would not buy a second hand phone over a new one.

    • Refer to my comment above, Is it Laggy?!
That's all I hear from iPhonites, when they hear somebody has an iPhone 7 or older.

      • At first I just thought it was a fashion thing having the latest iPhone and not one from two years ago. But then I realised it actually does need to be replaced every two years.

iPhones used to be so much better.

    • +2

Here's some answers, Appleites just love getting ripped off.
Just like 10 or so years ago, when you were 'brave' to not sign up with Telstra or Optus for your phone/internet services.
People 'can' take their out of warranty Apple products to non Apple Certified stores and repair shops.

Abourt 3 years ago Apple store said my water damaged macbook pro 15" was unrepairable, new one required at around 2,500 to 3K or so.
I took it to a repair shop in St Kilda (Melbourne), and $350.00 later it's still rocking (Logic board and new RAM), Battery still good, as a matter of fact I've just typed this on it.

      • +2

wow cool story bro, obvious newby re apple products

        • Nope, got another cool story for you bro!.
My old man bought a McIntosh Circa 1989, all I could do was play some hockey like game against a character that oddly enough looked like Bill Gates, glasses and all!.
My very first Mac was (and I still have it, and it still 'works'), 2007 (could be 2006)15" MacBook Pro antiglare, the very first machine that introduced Macs to the wonderful world of "PC like' INTEL CHIPSET- I nearly bought an iMac back then the ones with the multi coloured monitors, but when performing due diligence I read about the move to Intel CPU and the benefits so I waited it out.

I now have 1- 2007 afore mentioned 15" MBP, 2-Early 2011 MacBook Pro 15", 3- mid 2012 15" MacBook pro (the last MBP that you are able to upgrade yourself RAM, HDD, DVD Drive, Battery etc).fitted with a 1TB SSD, and last #4, 2014 (could be 2015), 15" MBP retina. Thats for laptops, there is also a mac mini and 2 iPads, oh and there's an Apple TV.
Im embarrassed to admit my youngest has an iPhone 5 (also a 4 paper weight), and my oldest a 6S (with finger print scan).

Newbie… me thinks NOT! Unlike your comment to "roidcel' below, I can afford Apple product…FYI Bought cash not on credit or on a phone plan, Yippee for me.

          Cool story though bro'

          • @ozf1: school must be out

            • @[Deactivated]: Well, somebody's got a fragile constitution, get over it.

apple is so rich because it exploits weak minded people's fan mentality, just like shitty musicians do (COUGH belieber COUGH).

        • +1

wow jealous some, get a job so you can afford a apple product :)

          • @[Deactivated]: u think this is about money? i wouldn't pay for an apple product if i was a billionaire. lol @ thinking i cant afford apple products. ur just slightly better than the teen slut beliebers (he's average looking, shitty af music, worst moral qualities, all he has is his rep just like apple).

            • +1

@Gerry H: As much as I hate being locked into the Apple Universe, like it or not… it just works.
Android is much more customisable and powerful, but having used both extensively Apple is much easier for a novice to pick up and use, without crapping itself or confusing the user.

My elderly parents and also my parent-in-laws now use Apple. They were able to pick it up in an instant due to its intuitiveness.
I've gone too and fro between both platforms over the years, and there is NO WAY you can sit there and type that Android is better in all respects.

For one its far less reliable and in some instances just hopeless. For all of Apple's control over everything, there are some benefits to those restrictions. The freedom in Android is also its Achilles Heal.

But your argument that only weakminded fools use Apple is flawed. There are just a few people out there (just a few), that dont want fully customisable platforms that can be more difficult to use.

Apple works. It's not perfect, and in some instances its almost criminal how they lock things down so much… but, it works. All the time (well, maybe not all the time, but a hell of a lot more than Android).

    • +1

Cool. We use iPhone 7 as a corporate phone at my work so I'm handing them out every week - no reports like you and your three buddies. My anecdotal evidence far outweighs your anecdotal evidence, matey.

      • -1

Oh, I wonder who negged me…
        Found the Apple Fanboy.

        Answer me this matey:
Why is this a bargain when it is the same price + free delivery at Telstra?

  • +1

If anyone is in the market for new iPhone 6s phones (and others), I recently bought one on Ebay which is listed as "new- never used" (as opposed to "brand new in box", one step down). Factory second but absolutely perfect- 90 day warranty to make sure all is working as it should.

Seller is BrandSalesCorp, 36k reviews, 100%.

iPhone 6s, 64Gb, $325 delivered, and not locked to any carrier.

Phone came in generic box but was completely as described. Brand new in every way, no issues. NOT AN IMPORT.

Just a free plug from a happy customer…. and from someone who will never buy a phone on contract or for $1500 ever again!
Don't give your money to Tel$tra or JB.

+ive vote for a +ive thinker from me UFO.

As mentioned on one of the youtube videos I linked, pricing decision is crazy, xrazy people paying over 1K for a 'phone' is Cray' Cray' Crazy to me.

      • guess if you use it for fb, insta and snapchat sure, some people actually make a living using there phone ;)

        • +1

          It's spelled 'their'.

School must be out, or rather you were out of school when it was.

That's why your corporate phones are so old ( yes 2 1/2 years in Tech a long time ) , you and your employer have no due diligence of the Apple scam spoken of in this thread . Try google the answer if your capable of that . Sorry you need help : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6311525/Ital…

BTW there must be a reason why everyone here on S10 's P30 's and XS's LOL .

Yeah I'm sure the blue-chip company I work for didn't do their due diligence when deciding on whether we'll offer Apple devices as a phone, LOL. iPhone XR is being tested to see if we want to move to that instead of the iPhone 8.

We also use Samsung S8s. Very decent phone.

I said this in another comment:

Also, just letting you know that it's you're, if you're capable of spelling that correctly.

BTW there must be a reason why everyone here on S10 's P30 's and XS's LOL .

I don't even know what you mean. You have oversight on OzBargainer's phone brand? There's over 200,000 users, dude. Nice hyperbole that is completely outside the bounds of reality.
