PS+ Asia May free games are awful too: Metal Gear Survive, The Witness (What Remains of Edith Finch was free in April for PS+ Asia).
PS+ seem to even out eventually across all regions… so unfortunately, it is likely Metal Gear Survive, The Witness will be offered to PS+ Aus in the future.

I can't believe I'm saying this but even this months games with gold beats this.
A two hour long walking simulator and a party game replaced by a sequel.

People complain way too much about PS+ deals. Obviously there will be some hit and miss titles, they can’t cater for everyone’s taste.
Check out the scores for both of these titles on various review sites and they’re fairly high.
I’d not have spent money on either game, but now more than willing to give them a go since they come with the PS+ sub. Overcooked looks like it’ll be a blast doing couch co-op with the missus.Yes definitely one to play with the Mrs
People seem to think now that we aren't getting PS3 and Vita it would magically make the 2 PS4 games better it never did and is very going to change. That being said these aren't terrible games. The Value however isn't worth it. I saw value in 72 games a year for $70 but not for 24 games. Just surprised Sonys been able to pull this off without a massive backlash.
They've been spoilt in the past 12-18 months. Been some great free games. I know I got my money's worth
My membership ran out yesterday, won't be renewing it till they add more value
Edith Finch is amazing and I would have been pretty happy with it… if we didn't already get it for free and played it the other month from Epic.. =(
I would have loved to see Unfinished Swan instead so I could check out the dev's previous game + get closure on that one character that has ties to both..
Not sure, but I’m pretty sure Swan was on Plus ages ago. Not my kind of game but I remember it being in my list and Plus is the only logical reason.

Edith finch only takes an hour to finish (good game though) and over cooked is only good locally with friends. I have both these games on Xbox and this isn’t a great month 😤
$41 worth of value from Sony….seriously get stuffed, what a joke PS+ has become,I thought last month was rubbish but this one just WOW. I remember the days when we used to get $120-150 worth of games, wont be renewing my subscription at this rate, might even move to Xbox Gold.

I suspect bad titles are about forcing people into their other subscription service, which has 6-8 really good titles this month. Farqued if I’m letting them force me into it though, they can bite me and their plus subscription

What other subscription service? As far as i'm aware Playstation only has the one sub. If you are talking about Xbox Game Pass thats on a completely different console and its more like a Netflix type of deal where games come and go and you can only access them while they are a part of the service.

Agreed. Would have thought no longer including the PS3 games meant they would be able to give better PS4 games given that the subscription price is still the same, but if anything they've gotten worse. If I didn't need PS Plus to play online I probably wouldn't be renewing either, but there's every chance they'll up their game soon hopefully.
In the meantime though, Xbox GWG is much better IMO, especially now that the free Xbox 360/OG Xbox games they give you are also backwards compatible on XB1.

Secondly, in order to play the existing free games linked to your account you require an active sub.
I don't play the majority of the existing free games linked to my account and the ones I do play i've either finished, own on physical media, or won't miss.
I'm more likely to resub if there was an online game I wanted to play. Previously I would buy a yearly sub but i'll be changing to a monthly sub instead for when I want to play online.

The servers for your multiplayer match are run by the game developer/publisher or p2p aren't they?

I paid ~$20 for Overcooked and it's a great game for a small group. Certainly worth the money.

Great games if you don't have them. If you do, it sucks. But, that's the nature of this.
I am really missing the PS3 games though. That was a dog act removing them. Hate them for doing so.
I pay for PS+ so I can play online and that's really all it's for. The free games are just a bonus sweetener… to have the audacity to complain that the free stuff you're getting is shit is pretty lame. Overcooked is the bomb
