Was after an inexpensive larger case and came across this. Seems like a fairly good deal for the price, and includes a tempered glass side panel and one cooling fan (with room for more).

I personally like that it has a slot for an internal optical drive too as I have a good blu-ray drive I still use.

Looks like a good simple design, avoids the idiotic trend for blocking out the front panel and killing airflow

With a limited number of drive bays and merely 1.7 cm taller, Deepcool listed this as a Middle Tower Case. PCCG marketing deceptively changed it to a Full Tower Case.

Mid-tower cases are smaller, about 46 cm (18 in) high with two to four external bays.

    • Yeah, hence my title 'mid/full tower'

Might be better described as a large mid-tower case.

Not bad, shipping always kills case deals.

Yep, saw the case, saw the price and then saw PCCG & knew it was going to be 'no deal'.

Biggest shipping rorters, but hey, if you're local, great deal.

btw.. for those in Sydney, MWAVE have it for the same price.

  • I love all the BS airflow diagrams that all brands are guilty of. But yeah this is a good deal if you an pick it up.

  • There is also a Deepcool D-Shield V2 case for $49 at MWAVE

Very similar to this, only difference being the non-perforated front which may restrict airflow.

Full glass is much nicer than a small plastic window imo

      • definitely yeah. Wouldn't trade my Fractal Design Meshify C for anything else though, has both glass and meshed front. The downside of Fractal Design is that even though they're cheap in the US, they seem to come at a price premium in Au.

Deepcool E-Shield is like poor man's version of the Fractal Design.

Then there is me who is the opposite. I like a fully enclosed, quiet noise and quiet design. So I have a Fractal Define R5 non-windowed. To me a case is not seen or heard.
