  I have a yearly Merlin pass that includes access to the above attractions.

  Just be prepared for an insane queue at the aquarium during any kind of promotion (or even a rainy day as people look for indoor activities). They have a habit of letting too many people in and it's impossible to get through quickly.

  If you must go, get there before opening time.

  The wildlife zoo next door is usually OK. Never bothered with the wax museum.
