Open link and find the bit in the URL that says "couponid=151" and change the number to 153

You might want to check the expiry of that promotion ending 153

As far as I'm aware it was valid till end of 31/10/2018

Also worth checking other offers. I transferred 30 April to bupa with free 6 weeks. Went on highest cover which will end up costing me $215 for 10 weeks. I get $380 for my contacts and then another $380 1st July, and then $900 for my invasilign retainers which actually cost less (my dentist puts the extra as credit for me ) so for $215 I get $1460 worth which I would have paid for anyways

I will then transfer again to the best offer after the 10 weeks are over with bupa

    • That Bupa offer seems to expire on the 30th is it a offer that comes up often?

    • Cheers for the link

Nib currently have $200 gift card offer too.

      • Which cover? I couldn't see it.

Edit: It's on their website. I assume this can't be stacked with CTM as T&C days you need to purchase through nib.com.au website.

          Front page of website
          Www.nib.com.au

You may be able to stack. Call CTM and ask them

          • @easternculture: Nope any direct offers won't stack unless they are displayed on ctm website

@leeroys_dad: I use iselect when they have giftcard offers and every time I have benefited from the health fund offers resulting in double dipping

I've never really paid for my health insurance premiums as I switch from fund to fund with $100 to $300 gift cards offers every 45 to 60 days

              • @easternculture: Iselect and ctm generally have the same health fund special offers, the health funds make available broker offers which might be different to direct offers by the health fund. So if it's displayed on ctm/iselect website then you can double dip. But the current nib offer can't be double dipped

              • @easternculture: Sorry new to health insurance hopping, but an experienced prepaid sim hopper.

Would this affect credit rating by any chance ? And also, would the waiting periods be carried over ?

                • -1

@SydOzber: No it won't affect credit rating

Waiting periods get carried over as long as they are comparable to the new one.

                  • @easternculture: thanks mate, will start on this journey.

                  • @easternculture: Hey EC have you jumped in the QFF offers in the past? When they double bonus points, the QFF points are paid on the current level of cover at exactly day 60. So you can buy single basic hosp policy for 0-58 days, upgrade on day 58/59 to family top hosp and gold extras, get 120000 qff points then switch. So cost is something like $300 give it take for $1.2k work of qff points 😀

      • Hi EC, appreciate you can enlighten me on this. NIB T&C suggests the $200 giftcard offer is only applicable through Nib's approved online channel. Do you reckon this includes CTM? I just want to make sure because the NIB $200 offer wasn't mentioned on CTM when I got a quote

        NIB T&C:
The Offer is only available in conjunction with the purchase of a nib combined Hospital and Extras Australian resident’s health insurance product through nib’s approved online channels during the Offer Period (“Eligible Product”), and does not apply to a purchase of an nib overseas students health insurance, international workers health insurance, corporate private health insurance, Qantas Insurance, Suncorp, AAMI or Apia policies or those moving from one of these products to an nib ARHI product

  • Can you get cash out from these giftcards at an ATM or cashout at Woolies etc?

    • No, but can be used anywhere eftpos is accepted

  • Has anyone been successful recently with this deal? It's been 2 days after quoting and I have not received an email for $100 gift card offer

    • Silly question but did you use a real email? Check spam. I think it might be up to 3 days anyway

      • Thanks Leeroys, I just received an email from CTM. 3rd day since I quoted. Thanks!

  • is there any way to ensure i get the $200? i cant see it on the screen

  • Do we simply go past the 'your details' page (3rd tab) to be classified as 'Complete a health insurance quote'?

  • +1

Hi gang, the coupon code has changed. It'll now show "couponid=155" in the URL - just change this number to 157 and you'll get the offer screen for a $200 gift card.

  • Great work
