Damn just bought this the other day, worth it even at full price. Happy customer!

    • Agree. I’m happy with mine too.

Planning to buy Xiaomi one - if this good ? And is the BMI n other data based on height n age or does it scans using some current flowing via electrodes (read it for some machine)

      • Got it on the last offer. I would say those measurements are … in the vicinity of accuracy.

It's almost like it's on a different scale (unintended), not surprisingly for these kind of prices. I would take the results (other than the weight and BMI which is calculated) with a big grain of salt.

You got scammed but you don't want to admit it.

          • @Diji1: That's not the case at all - they simply appreciate what is reliable and what is not.

I've got the xioami one, it does scan using electrodes. However, because it's not using the type of BIA where you're also physically holding electrodes it's limited in what it can scan. Also note that BIA is heavily influenced by your body's water content. Other than that, it's a pretty good scale, connects to the app pretty well, can't complain.

        • Yes, the morning readings, when you’re dehydrated, would be particularly inaccurate with this technology. This is not limited to this product though.

          • +1

@elektron: Also if you've done intense exercise where you have sweat a lot.

      Shirley you can't be serious?
These are discounted here every second week.
Good scales, and bluetooth works well, but don't take the non-weight metrics too seriously.

And is the BMI n other data based on height n age

BMI is just weight & height, of course. It tells you fat % and way too many other things, from impedance measurement.

  • ty bught one.

  • Thanks OP, didn't really need one, but at that price happy to part with my hard earned.

  • How’s it work, is the Bluetooth always on? Or does it turn on and connect when you stand on it?
How’s it go with multiple users in the same area?

    • Does not require bluetooth to work, however if your device is nearby with the app and bluetooth enabled, the weight and other data will be recorded onto the app.

The app allows adding multiple user profiles which detects which user is recording their weight (based on weight?). I don't use this feature much though so not too sure.

      • which detects which user is recording their weight (based on weight?)

You have to start the app before getting on the scales, so that is enough - it just connects to the first phone it finds running the app, I'd guess.

      • Once you connect it the first time, you simply open the app and jump on the scale. It works in literally seconds its great.

        The multi users also work

Seems like the monthly advertising for OP… At least one post every month around the same price for these
Eg this one from March even cheaper

Same as CashRewards/Shopback temporarily increasing their cashback every week or so, for an easy spot on the front page.

I've bought this scale from a previous deal and it's great. If you don't like, don't upvote.

Bought it last time, great scale for the price.

  • Any coupon for white OP?

  • Curious to know, how does it can tell your BMI by weighing you..

    • +1

You’d set your height somewhere in the app. Makes sense cause that doesn’t change.

  • Is the body fat percentage accurate on these? How exactly does it calculate it?

    • -1

I measure myself, before and after meals and the difference between lots of carbs vs salads, the scale seems to pick it up.

    • +1

      No, it's a scam.

This Scale is Awesome, I paid $32 and at that price, its a Bargain! Love it!

    Bought one last time.

Recently my luggage scales broke and today I used these scales to weight myself and then again holding luggage.
It worked out the luggage was 22.3kg, got to the check in counter at the airport and it was spot on 22.3kg.

The other metrics are good for tracking trends but take the actual figures with a grain of salt.

other metrics are good for tracking trends

      No they aren't.

Thanks Op, going to give this a go as my Fitbit Aria (1st gen) has not been working well with modern routers and its a pain to set up!

  • Is there a limit,I am not able to buy 2

  • why can't I buy another one using the discount code?
It says the code has been redeemed.

  • I have this, it's a pretty solid product! connects super fast to the app.

  • Have one of these, really good with the app, actually motivating to chart progress etc

  • Coupon not working..

Edit hmm seems like only the black ones for sale

  • Coupon now expired

seems to work for me moments ago.

    • +1

      Mine just worked.

  • Difference between this and the Xiaomi weight scale anyone know?

  • Bought this last time, great product!

  • Can anyone tell me what the minimum weight is? Last month I had to weigh something around 8-12kg (trying work out when a port barrell is empty/full). But my kitchen scales max is 5kg. Could be convinced to buy this if it solves more than one problem.

    • +4

Weigh yourself then weigh yourself holding the object. The difference is the weight of the object

    • -2

The maximum weight is listed on the product page.

  • Hi OP, can you do a discount on the rechargeable one as well?

  • thanks OP.. i got the massager, that works great, and bought this also… how about a deal on the neck massager?

  • +1

I picked one of these up from the last deal, my 1st 'smart' scale and have to say i'm very impressed! Syncs seamlessly with the Renpho app & Apple health and the data collected is very interesting. Even at full price these scales are great value so if you can pick it up for less than $25 it's a bargain!

  • Thanks, OP. Missed it last time. Will be a great mothers day present

  • Its funny to see "Customers who bought this item also bought" section at the bottom of the page includes other OzBargain deals.
