Could be worse. David Jones only gives you a month on their promo gift cards, however unlike Myer, you can get around that by buying a gift card and paying for it with the promo gift card

It's a promotional gift card, which is excluded from the new laws
Given Myers recent financial troubles, id be wary buying gift cards and not using them right away

Their profits are dropping. I wouldn’t be worried about them completely shutting down though. They’ll probably just close a few stores and do some restructuring.

If u can't find something u like in 3months buy anything from myer and return it to get 1yr to use your returns card. Myer are very good with returns. Just make sure u keep your receipts for the refund.

You have to spend at least $100 in one transaction and not one $50 gift card in one transaction, then another $50 gift card in another transaction
I assume u can't use giftcards to buy giftcards?
Doubt it; you can't even consolidate them if you have multiple Myer gift cards
I read the back of the card and it says that these physical gift card cannot be used for online purchases. Anyone has any experience with this?
I've used physical Myer gift cards online; last time was a few months ago. Did you get Coles Myer gift cards?

Gotta wait until 15/5T&C stated that it should spend in one transaction but I guess it will be fine. Apparently, this promo applies on e-giftcard as well. I received my egc via email an hour after I made a purchase but not the bonus yet. (E-giftcard does not incur a delivery fee of $4.95)
