    Shouldn’t buy a gtx 1070 at this moment & there were lots 17 inch gtx 1070 deals below $2000 at the end of last year. The timing has been missed, now please look into the new rtx series. Obviously it is a desperate clearance.

      I agree with what you are saying but the price difference between the GTX compared to the RTX is pretty significant considering there isnt a huge improvement in performance

      i'd say this laptop would be able to play all AAA title at good specs

        No, nothing to do with ray tracing. Rtx 2060 is better than a gtx 1070, so it does improve a lot.
        What I’m saying is 6 months ago there were already those kind of deals. At that moment rtx cards weren’t out. Now it is a bit late to invest that amount of $ into a gtx 1070.
        You might as well buy a 17 in 2060 from metabox.
