    Looks like @sellingoutsoon sold out earlier than expected.

    I can understand why carbon fibre can be pretty useful on something like a bike, but i'm less sure about a simple tripod … seems like overkill to me unless you've got money to fritter away, in which case you should just give it to me. The money, not the tripod.

    @spackbase you may have interpreted this differently to intended, it's about stock levels, as stated. There was one left on ebay yesterday, and there's been minimal stock available at this price. The reference to "exclusive stock just made available" is exactly that, exclusive physical stock (more units). We made this change earlier today, to help ensure there would be at least double the minimum requirement of OzBargain, so we're providing enough stock for anyone who wants one, as far as we can predict, of course.   Height without center column: 95cm

  Ideally you wouldn't want to extend the center column unless you really needed to, given most people are taller than 95cm it seems like you'd have to. I wouldn't recommend it if you want something really stable that will be regularly used at eye height.

  Only 130cm with the column extended which is very limiting and would be pretty tedious on your neck and back after a while of bending.

    It's a travel tripod. It's designed to be compact and light, of course it's going to have trade offs.
