The best travel tripod I ever had

By Lemi

"It's extremely lightweight, compact and tall but despite that it's very solid with practically no vibration because I guess it's carbon fibre structure. The ball head is very sturdy and capable of holding the weight suggested in it's manual. I'd highly recommend it to everybody who travels a lot and wants to have a reliable tripod attached to his/her backpack or even shoulder bag all the time."

the best lightweight option

By roninseattle

"I wanted a decent tripod to carry with me as I walk around taking street photography. It had to be 2 pounds (1Kg) or less and less than 12 inches long (30cm) when closed, and have a Arca-swiss style head.

This is a compromise tripod for sure, note the center column is always up (or taken off, but then you can't reverse fold it). For what it is there is no close competitor. It's strong enough to use for time lapse or long exposure as long as you take some precautions again vibration.

I will still carry my RRS tripod for critical work but it will stay in the hotel room most of the day while this little guy will come with me everywhere else."

Amazingly sturdy and portable tripod

By AzianCraze

"I really love this tripod because its very sturdy, decent height, amazingly light and portable, easy to setup, and it comes with a decent ball head. And I use it with my DSLR with a 18-300mm lens and an external flash. Been using it on a regular basis and I'm looking forward to using it when traveling."

local vs overseas though. I reckon this is a good local price.

    • Hi Ash :)

      1. How does their delivery time compare?
      2. Aussie product?
      3. Warranty?
      4. Authorised dealer?

And could you tell us the full price difference in AU$ after delivery?

      Thanks very much

      • +1

I think I found the answer, which is a fairly common reason why Aussie buyers choose us. Anyone who has bought Sirui from us, please feel free to chime in at any time - people need to hear why you thought buying from sellingoutsoon.com.au is better for you.

For anyone else, please consider the below carefully:

        Chinese ebay Seller (Shenzhen, China)

        • ebay China = AUD$234.43+ AUD$6.48 china shipping
        • China warranty
        • Not sure if China seller is authorised to sell, or selling authentic product, let's assume it is, although we all know the risk(terrible pun intended!)
        • Economy International Shipping: Est. delivery: Thu, 11 Jan – Sun, 4 Feb

        Selling Out Soon (Sydney, Australia)

The deals are not the same, because they're doing unofficial stock, no Australian warranty and it takes a couple of months to get here.

        • It would probably be fairer to compare us with trusted (authorised) dealers like B&H and Adorama. But this deal from sellingoutsoon.com.au is lower than all of them, including the questionable Chinese sellers.

And sellingoutsoon.com.au is better because of the important details below

If you're a Sirui user please comment on what you think of the product, and if you have bought Sirui from Selling Out Soon please comment on your experience with us and whether you've been happy with our service.

I think the difference is less than $10, as I said, yours is a good price, and yes, I'd be buying local if I were in the market!

But this wouldn't be ozbargain if we didn't look at the options!

        • Yes, no worries at all, appreciate your input. We're all here for the best overall deal. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to articulate some things better than I had when I posted the deal.

Hi Rep. I just purchased this 6 days ago for $259. Can you please refund me the difference? I just sent you a PM.

    • +2

Please PM me for a code, then contact Customer Care by email using the code. You'll be attended to early January, whereby you can request that. Everything is governed by whatever you agreed (the site's terms) however extenuating circumstances may be considered in some instances. Since I don't have access to that data, it would be improper for me to comment, because I'm not privy to all the circumstances of private deals. I dare say you'll be treated fairly and with dignity. Only senior staff have access to rep instigated codes, and will act accordingly.

  • Otherwise, I'll just cancel my current order and create a new order using the discount code for today.

  • +8

+1 to the rep for replying sensibly and with great attitude. Good in you, mate!

  • Hi Rep!

I got your code and sent you a reply PM. I don't know where to use the code and what the code is for? My order hasn't shipped yet. Will it further reduce what I already paid?

    Thanks!

Please refer to this and this. And I'll reply to your other PM again shortly.

I have this tripod, love it to bits!

  • Ball head and case are normally included comes with original package. They are not really extra added values.

    • That's a point worthy of clarification, thank you.

      • Case = yes.
      • Ball head = no.

Like many of the Sirui Tripods, Sirui offers with or without a ball head. Selling Out Soon chooses to sell it with the C-10S head (revised, newer model) as do some other authorised sellers in Australia, although many sellers (particularly unauthorised, and/or overseas sellers with longer lead times from the factory) only have access to the older C-10X. To a large extent this depends on how it is brought into the country, although sellingoutsoon.com.au is authorised to sell it with or without the ballhead. Although if you bought them separately, the price would never be this low. The deal probably says it better

    Sold out?

    • Thank you for letting me know. I'll check with head office.

      • working now

  • These really are great tripods for their low weight and size. I had no problem with it holding up a Canon 5DSR+24-100L. I don't think it could handle long lenses (100-400) but for most things it would be fine. Holds my Sony A7R2 with most lenses fine. Packs down small enough to go into carry on luggage, or hang from a camera bag without being a pain to carry.

There are MUCH more stable tripods out there (see RRS) but to get something significantly more stable you need a tripod about twice as heavy.

    • I have the Sirui T-024X which is awesome. It’s a lot more stable with a fully retractable one-section centre post and only weighs 950g inc ball head.

      • Yes, good product, but only available in an older revision, and only 4 sections. We're probably not going to do that one in Australia again. For anyone who wants to check out the difference, see this

Watchout for the used car salesman pitch. Every sale is a dramatic new price for an absolutely amazing tripod thats selling out the door…

These guys are such drama queens and notorious for it. Dont worry they have plenty of stock and there is some shockling Amazing, once in a life time, sale every month 😊

    • . Watchout for the used car salesman pitch.

Ssshh! You're not supposed to say that!

So please don't make me sound like a car salesman.

    • Irrespective of their actual stock levels, this IS a great price and genuine bargain so it unambiguously belongs here on ozbargain.

  • +1

Sales pitch (and claims of low stock) aside, found myself in need of a tripod and bought this thanks to less biased reviews online.

    Cheers all the same.

    Some Friendly Thoughts

Yes we sell things, and we're not shy about it. The best people who sell things have a habit of treating people well. But if you're worried, before getting sucked into a great deal, why not use the internet (or links provided) to research the normal price, or what your alternatives are? Of course, such advice is so obvious it could be almost offensive to anyone but the novice OzBargainer, because everyone here is pretty high up on the scale of price checking. The internet is also very good at providing free data, and we all know that. And we all like free.

    Games

When our more niche videogames sell out, we can't usually get more, because there are manufacturers' quantity minimums that demand may not support. This may create a tiny amount of demand itself, but usually only for collectors, which is why rare brand new stock can become collectible but mainstream stock doesn't and is often cheap.

    Photographic Equipment

Tripods are mainstream, but we're into the quality. And if it's worth getting more (if we can) we do. Nobody is pretending it can't be manufactured again, but it isn't always, and we can't always do it for the same price either. If I'm wrong, the price of this will be cheaper next month. I'm betting it won't. And sometimes models change, any variety of things can happen or are discontinued in Australia, which creates pricing opportunities, which are good for OzBargain, and thereby good for you.

Is this the best deal for the rest of time?

Who knows? But is it the best deal now? That's very easy. This deal seems to be the best price in the world right now, because you already checked. OzBargain is notorious for fact-checking, and everybody looked. What is abnormal about this is that it's the direct opposite to the "Australia Tax", because this unique Aussie deal is even lower than potentially dodgy ebay sellers in China because of this

    Experience over everything

There is nowhere to hide on the internet, and all sellers are under scrutiny by anybody at any time. But the scrutiny that matters most, is by those with experience - because only they really know, everybody else just has an opinion.

Can highly recommend this tripod for traveling. You won't want to rely on it for long exposure without adding some weight under it to hold it stable as it suffers from being too light, but as a tripod for your travel photography & pictures with your better half that don't rely on an outstretched arm it's great.
Very light, so I tend to take it everywhere. Much like a camera, the best tripod you have is the one you have with you.

    • +1

I hang my camera bag off the hook for long exposure work, and it was perfectly stable with lee filters hanging off the lens and legs at full extension for shots up to 15min. Pretty awesome little tripod.

      • I do exactly the same thing. Mine was recently stolen during a break-in, but I made sure insurance replaced it with an identical model given how much I like it.

  • +1

This is a brilliant tripod. It replaced/compliments my Benro tripod. This is now the tripod I travel with when I starting going on a travelling diet to cut down weight.

Personally I got this from helusi-store back in 2016, this was when tripods like this were not very popular, if it wasn't a Gitzo, Manfrotto, etc, people would just think you cheaped out or are not a proper 'pro'…whatever the f*** that means.

    Got mine for: (copy/paste)

PAID : US $183.60 with PayPal
Free postage. US $32.40 voucher applied. (must of been some coupon back then…thanks OzBargain!)

Funny, I started with Manfrotto but quickly found that those well known brands were being out-classed by Benro who had much better product (better = better value, quality, weight, functionality, price). My Benro is great, but when I needed to cut weight, this Sirui stood out. It's in a class of its own and can't be beat. Slightly better build quality then my Benro. OK, it doesn't have the height of by Benro, but from 1.4Kg down to 0.7Kg, I can live with that to loose 20cm maybe.

Great price and I glad to see these in Australia now.

    Slightly off-topic.

Manfrotto years back went on a sueing spree when these Chinese players were eating their cake (yeah Manfrotto that's because your consumer/semi-pro offering were poorly built and over-priced (i.e. poor value). Due to my consistent RMA's and eventual refund where I got to choose a model of my choice…which ended up on eBay :-) for a tidy sum..that was a proper cash spinner there, which got me my Benro with lots of coin left over.

So Manfrotto sue, goes nowhere, settles, whatever, and then release this: https://www.dpreview.com/news/9526920534/manfrotto-unveils-e…

Let's have a game of spot the difference…Comments are a good read. I guess if you can't beat them, rebadge em, ay Manfrotto?

  • Wish it could get one leg off to turn into a monopod. That would be the dream!

  • Is there an option to do this model tripod with a head which has a bubble level ?

How much extra cost would I be looking at to do this?

    • +1

Considered buying a stick on version? :]

      • I would tend to agree. A lot of people just use their phone for that these days, save yourself the hassle and money, or a stick on version. Because the C-10S is the matching ball head for this, there's usually no point changing it.

  • +1

Damn, spewing I missed out on this deal!

Price has since dropped to $283.00 whether it’s a typo and they meant to rebadge at the ‘sale’ price of $238.00 or just decided to dro the price therefore we all only REALLY saved $45.00… you can take a look and maybe use another coupon to get it lower? Hmm.. smells a bit like a used car salesman pitch.

      • … smells a bit like a used car salesman pitch.

    Cheers rep for the updates.

As usual in my excitement about a purchase I only read what I wanted to (ships in 0-2 business days) and was excitedly waiting for my item since getting back to work on Tuesday. Unfortunately I ordered a little after that 8pm cut-off time, looks like I'll have to be a little patient. Not like I am in a rush, just excited as I said. =D

  • Mine was waiting for me today when I got home, still pending on the order page though as explained by OP.

  • Hey rep, what's the eta on orders after 8pm 28/12? Hopefully it's not the Feb/Mar mentioned on your site for orders placed now.

    • Hi :) It's earlier now for new orders, and if you got the deal, earlier still. Fully updated post yesterday - please see above. Item page is updated too.

      • +1

Hey rep, I ordered 12:10AM AEDT 29/12/17 ( FOUR hours and ten minutes after your "cut-off" ). Got an email telling me I'm in "#Sprint 3" which means a dispatch date of 18-20th January. So FOUR hours after your cutoff equates to a THREE week delay? What the hell? A day or two I might understand but THREE WEEKS? I've had stuff from China arrive in two weeks.

        From your site:

        "Dispatch Sprint #2 - SHIPPING
You placed your order later than 8pm AEDT 28.12.17 (Agreed Deadline)
Everything is done according to the agreement, we adhere to a highly disciplined system, whereby orders are fulfilled on a backorder basis, strictly in time/date order.
Earliest late orders ship 8-10th Jan 2017
        Dispatch Sprint #3 - PENDING
You placed your order later than 6:56pm AEDT 29.12.17
This is in the latest late order group, and is due to ship 18-20th Jan 2017
Please note: In the event of a high demand /low supply item, it is possible we need to employ manual systems as overrides, in which case the normal tracking system may not have quite caught up yet. If this happens, all will auto-correct in due time. "

According to this, I made it into Sprint #2. Please make sure this is rectified.

        Order #158359

        Thank you.

        • Hi :) I don't have access to specifics, however (as per above) orders before listed deadline dispatched in 0-2 business days as promised and the rest are longer as stipulated (see updates). While I'm not privy to all the circumstances of your order, my offer to ensure you get excellent service from Selling Out Soon applies to you too. sellingoutsoon.com.au not only has the best Sirui T-025X + C10-S price in Australia (and the world, in this case), but works hard to maintain whatever you agreed to: everything is governed by the site's terms and this deal. Some cutoffs may update as necessary, but sprint dates have been maintained. Please let me know if I can help. Simply PM me for a code, then contact Customer Care by email using the code. You'll be attended to within 48 hoursI dare say you'll be treated fairly and with dignity. Only senior staff have access to rep instigated codes, and will act accordingly.

        • +1

@sellingoutsoon: You must be out of breath after that reply. It's rather simple, I ordered at X time, therefore my order should be shipped at X time (according to your update). I don't need this BS run around with PM and codes and what not. So many T&C's and fine print and jumping through hoops for what should be a simple process. I don't need your used car salesman spiel. Just ship my order out as promised (according to your update), for I am not asking for anything more than that. You have my order number above.

        • @eediot:

Is it possible to keep this polite please?

SERVICE UPDATE: Customer Care reports contact with you by email 47 mins ago (ATOW) which is before your reply here. They'll be happy to help you if you would reply please. Typo on UPDATE amended, thank you.
SERVICE UPDATE 2: I have also asked Customer Care to call you to clarify anything further for you.
SERVICE UPDATE:3 11.01.18 3:58 PM : I just received a message that they've left you a voicemail. Please respond at your earliest convenience.

Please note: Personal service information is best in a PM where we can add more detail. I'm only writing it here because you asked here, not wanting to PM. Consequently specifics may be limited.

          Free Express Post

Free Express Post offered to all late buyers offered a backorder after Agreed Deadline on update revision. All you have to do is ask and you'll get Express Post, free of charge.

          Customer Care

Customer Care reports all buyer enquiries up to date.

If anyone has a problem, please PM me so I can ask them to call you.

        • +1

@sellingoutsoon: Sure I can be polite, I just like an honest and direct approach not the run around ala "my offer to ensure you get excellent service" followed by "Simply PM me for a code, then contact Customer Care by email(sellingoutsoon.com.au) using the code. You'll be attended to within 48 hours. An oxymoron don't you think? You also topped it off with a patronising "I dare say you'll be treated fairly and with dignity"

And I don't answer private numbers. What kind of business hides their number unless there is something to hide? Obviously I could not call you back.

Why can't you just be honest and say you sold more than what you had, more stock due to arrive on this date, your order is number # in line, estimated to ship xx/xx/xx.

You make such a simple process seem more complicated than it has to be, and that is what frustrates me and causes me to be impolite.

Deadlines, shipping schedules, dispatch sprints(wtf), conditions, conditions, conditions, changing the conditions. Sheesh.

I just hope the product is good enough so I'll never have to deal with you for a warranty related issue (assuming I receive it).

        • @eediot:

Everything has already shipped except Sprint #3 which you're in: expected to ship on time, as agreed, and scheduled and on the updates listed.

I've checked multiple times for you. I'm not quite sure how there is a problem, because Customer Care did these 3 things to help and I'm going to ask them to email you again - please check your bulk mail folder if you're not getting the emails. I read the emails, they were very clear and friendly. If you're having any trouble with receiving emails, please just call the 1300 number on the website during business hours and you'll find staff to be friendly and helpful.

Why can't you just be honest and say you sold more than what you had,

Yes, if I'm reading between the lines correctly, I think you're preferring brevity and may be getting lost in the detail. I agree being concise may be preferable, but we're dealing with lots of people, with varying needs, some people need more details. It's quite clearly written in the deal, and in the updates on this page, most in (serious) detail so as to be very clear, and avoid ambiguity wherever possible.

more stock due to arrive on this date,

Yes, it's written (in different words) the updates emailed to you, and linked to above, and on the item page.

your order is number # in line, estimated to ship xx/xx/xx.

Yes, Customer Care advised the group (Sprint) you're in, other details are written in the updates emailed to you, and linked to above, and on the item page.

          Again:

If you're having any trouble with receiving emails, please just call the 1300 number on the website during business hours and you'll find staff to be friendly and helpful.

          Thank you

Hi I’m still waiting for my order to arrive I’ve had no status change and nothing to indicate any change in the order.

    My order number is 158365

I demand an answer as I’m not getting any replies to emails or calls.

My order was placed on the 28th December 2017.

I am not after excuses. If the order can’t be fulfilled please refund me.

On my part, I will be wary of these sales pitches next time.

I wonder how many guys out there are still waiting for this… ??

    • +1

I've given up, I'm just going to wait it out, I believe it'll come eventually, just no idea when.

These guys write one thing, then change the T&C's to suit them. For example Sprint #3 was originally for orders "order later than 6:56pm AEDT 29.12.17". Today it's "placed your order later than 8:56pm AEDT 28.12.17"

I'd ask the rep to comment on this, but I'm kind of over reading his/her bs.

      • Customer Care thanked you for pointed out a cut/paste error, and so did I1 however the Sprints haven't changed, so there's no real difference to timing of anybody's order. Please see this answer and this further answer to address these concerns.

Again, orders are on time, as agreed and here is the update link if you didn't get any of the emails from Customer Care.

    • Hello, thank you for your PM, where I have replied to you personally.

To summate in the interest of the forum:

      • Customer Care reports no email cases for this order number, but a search showed a 3rd party app which collates reviews was replied to by someone with this order number, and that reply went to the review company, not SOS.
      • Please be assured that orders are on time, as agreed and here is the update link showing what happens next, and when

Customer Care will be in touch shortly to help you with anything else you may need, in the interest of serving you better. Please let me know by PM if I can help you further.

Dear OZBs - why do you buy from this MOB??

A LOT OF TALK BUT SERVICE WELL BELOW PAR. GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR ITEMS

    • Selling Out Soon Continual Update page showing everything is on time, and as agreed

For anyone not quite sure, if you look closely, you'll see that everything is exactly as agreed. Service is actually very good, and on time, which doesn't always mean fast, it just means as agreed. However, it is often exceedingly fast.

      • All orders before the agreed deadline shipped within 0-2 business days, as promised.
      • All orders after the agreed deadline ship later, also as promised.
      • As promised, already 2 of 3 Warehouse Fulfilment Sprints have completed1.

Why people backordered: Please remember that this sellingoutsoon.com.au deal for the Sirui T-025X + C10-S Kit (bundle) is the lowest price in the world, probably the best price ever, which garnered considerable attention and the deal was oversubscribed, as explained in detail above, on the item page, and the page dedicated to continual updates to buyers to ensure on-time shipping.

Most people already have their item: Only people who ordered after agreed deadline (revision2 28.12.17 19.30 AEDST, see deal specifics regarding backorders) are still being shipped according to the update as listed in great detail, many times on this post, plus lots of other places.

Outstanding Service sellingoutsoon.com.au provides outstanding service. That's why google sent Selling Out Soon an email with what a Sirui buyer wrote3 yesterday:

      1. Most Shipping Completed

        ***** (5 stars)
Purchased my first camera tripod and ball head (Sirui) from Selling Out Soon. Ed & the team helped and advised me to ensure I got exactly what I needed. I was informed via phone calls and emails the whole time, the service I received was probably the best online shopping experience I have ever had, will definitely be purchasing more products from these guy, even upgraded my freight so I would have the tripod in time for a photo shoot. Great prices and great service, Thank you SOS

    1. Customers don't like goalposts moved (and we do notice when you edit T&C's to suit yourselves)
    2. Following on from 1, don't put the blame back on the customer for being upset that you have changed your T&C's (effectively calling them liars)
    3. Set clear expectations for shipping dates when items are sold out or on back order (at the time the order is placed, not weeks later)
    4. Don't give excuses that we can't relate to (it's Christmas and we had a skeleton staff so we took your money anyway and will deal with it when we are back)
    5. Too much sales pitch… let your products and your happy customers do the talking.,, and avoid the unnecessary waffle like this beauty ( Service is actually very good, and on time, which doesn't always mean fast, it just means as agreed. However, it is often exceedingly fast.).. if all that were true, you don't actually need to reaffirm it, unless you are defending a mistake.,.in which case
    6. Be upfront when you make a mistake - sorry we got carried away and took too many orders, we understand if you are frustrated, if you'd like to wait it out we are sure you will get a great product. If not, we are more than happy to refund you. As opposed to Sprint #1, #2 and #3 lol…

Anyways all the best with your store and hope you can avoid these kinds of issues in the future. If you can get more quality products, great prices am sure you guys will kill it.

    Cheers

    • Hello Saddcat,

Thank you. I also replied to your PM re: details specific to what Customer Care is doing to help you, including FREE EXPRESS POST which is being offered to all who ordered after the original agreed deadline.

If you would like to accept the Free Express Post offer, please just ask Customer Care for it.

Customers don't like goalposts moved (and we do notice when you edit T&C's to suit yourselves)
Following on from 1, don't put the blame back on the customer for being upset that you have changed your T&C's (effectively calling them liars)

No goalposts were moved. There were more options added as deal went viral, but they didn't invalidate any prior legitimate orders which shipped, om time as promised, and no further orders were taken without updating the agreement first. Yes there was a typographical error, swiftly amended. But as mentioned, didn't affect Dispatch Sprints, all on time so far, and we expect will be, subject to anomalies outside of our control. Please note: Lots of care is put in, if small errors happen, they're fixed ASAP.

Set clear expectations for shipping dates when items are sold out or on back order (at the time the order is placed, not weeks later) Don't give excuses that we can't relate to (it's Christmas and we had a skeleton staff so we took your money anyway and will deal with it when we are back)

I am not sure how many OzBargainers can't relate to Christmas. Most Australian spending every year in this period is for Christmas. In fact, it's only busy because of Christmas. Because most people were on some type of Christmas holidays, I think most people realise the deal was during the Christmas break, and as such the warehouse wasn't open most of it, key staff were on holidays, the decision had to be made on the spot to let as many people as possible have the deal, in the spirit of OzBargain. Nobody knew any additional 1 fulfilment dates at the time , and nobody could be contacted to find out, at the time. This is why the revised agreement (before any orders were taken) said this

Not being argumentative, but those details are actually provably accurate. Nice articulation may be equated with fiction, but also people who write the truth well. In this case, all evidence is readily verifiable by anybody who has bought the item, and had it dispatched as written. Which is pretty much everybody so far.

About reaffirming: In normal life what you said is probably quite plausible, but in this public forum, we have learned to expect (and respect) differences in expectations, abilities, relationship experience, empathy and commercial grounding. If I may politely offer this as a reminder: one reason some things need to be answered (or reaffirmed), is because it may not have already been read in the appropriate place, at the appropriate time, by the appropriate people. Updates, subject to the above have been timely, accurate and evidently correct, to date. Perhaps reiteration could be viewed as informative placation, whereby a nice writing style may make it more readable, based on the inherent understanding that not everyone will take the time to read the details that may have been most helpful. Thereby:

      • Service is actually very good (ask actual buyers of Sirui from us. Reviews at bottom of page.)
      • Service is is on time
      • Good service is not about speed, it's about serving the agreement - see deal terms amended before late orders taken.
      • Service is often exceedingly fast, as buyer claims yesterday

Be upfront when you make a mistake - sorry we got carried away and took too many orders, we understand if you are frustrated, if you'd like to wait it out we are sure you will get a great product. If not, we are more than happy to refund you. As opposed to Sprint #1, #2 and #3 lol…

Agreed in principle, but we were very clear about what was happening before later orders like yours were placed Please Note: Revision was 28.12.17 19.30 AEDST (AEDT) which is Sydney time. Buyers not in Sydney, allow for appropriate time difference(s), remembering the agreement is in Sydney time.

Anyways all the best with your store and hope you can avoid these kinds of issues in the future. If you can get more quality products, great prices am sure you guys will kill it.

      Cheers

Thank you very much. We always try to provide value, and avoid issues :) but the truth is the timing of Christmas holidays is likely why so many people went for the deal, yet also why logistical stretches ensued. It's no small miracle that everything has been on time. It's far from easy, but it is commitment. And that's what I look for when I buy things.

Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to mention all of this, and because it seems sincere, you bought the deal, and you brought up some important points, I have also taken the time to answer fully, although much is reiterated, or reaffirmed, because nearly all of it has been said before. Still, I sincerely hope this helps people who don't know us, to realise we're all just trying to do the right thing, and give OzBargainers a better deal on genuine Sirui than anyone else will. I look forward to hearing what you think of the T-025X when you get it, I think you'll be most impressed :)

And one more thing - please let us know if you want FREE Express Post, we'll be more than happy to give it to you.

      1. Fulfilment dates of original deal (before backorders) were accurate and completed on time. Further Dispatch Sprints have been accurate and completed on time. ATOW, only one to go, which ships soon. DISPATCH UPDATES

My purchase was in the third sprint. Just received the tripod yesterday via express post. Nice tripod and worth the wait.

But i do agree with majority of others, there's a bit too much sales talk and fluffing/skirting around with replies. Emails from customer service is the same. They really need to just keep it concise and to the point.

    • Hi poida, glad it was worth the wait! I do hear what you're saying. I wish it were easier, but it seems buyer expectation differs on that subject. We try to use headings for brevity. Hope that helps :)

The main thing, I guess, is however complex things get at busy times with super-popular deals, that the Sirui T-025X + C10 Ball Head is worth it - I hope you get a chance to get out there and enjoy it!
