My quote is about 20% less than what I pay with Petplan
Yikes… I just did a quick quote and it was closer to 40% less than what I'm paying with Petplan.
Looks like it's time for a change.Also note that the 15% discount is for the first year only, and it includes the 10% member discount if you're currently with Medibank Private for other insurance.
Be wary that any claims you've had with your previous insurer would be considered as pre-existing condition when you switch with the new one. This means similar claims will not be covered. That was my experience when I last looked to switch insurer. Happy to be corrected though.
That's nasty. Are you talking about not closed claims or any past claim? because pets can be affected twice by the same condition
A good saving, & Medibank are pretty competitive for pricing from my quotes.
But I still prefer the deal from Xmas/Jan - 15% off + 15k Flybuys (about $75 worth).Wow thats a lot cheaper than Bow Wow Meow (yeah I know)….and a huge annual benefit limit - do note that 15% off drops off after the first year.
I haven't read the PDS yet but looks promising….
bow wow meow has new plans. my plan went from $404 to $600
Does that make it cheaper then comparible insurance from other places though? that is the real test of a deal….
