- Temperature sensing

Controller Pairing Instruction:

1. One room can only be bound to one controller ( you may call it "gateway" or "infrared companion" ).
2. It is suggested in one room use one controller.

    Does anyone know if you can learn the commands for a device from say the RM Pro, then assign it to this controller?

    support consisted of sending a link to some amateur you tube videos- very unhelpful. In all videos it works like magic- the first controller tried for the device functions well. Not the case at all- tried over 100 options for my daikin air conditioner- not one worked. Same for my samsung tv - none worked (to be fair when posting on samsung forums apparently this is a known huge problem with all samsung products - their IR's are impossible to learn/replicate). That was my whole purpose of buying this product- samsung remote is dying, replacement cost stupid- thought this would work- negative.

    Seems like a pass on this device

    I've got a broadlinkpro but it doesn't have it's own temp sensor

    Any suggestions of a similar product to this that might actually work?

    Reading comments here, It's interesting that the gearbest reviews are mostly positive. The mention of it having a temperature sensor is a bonus (not on the broadlink mini) even if just turning on/off a non smart aircon - worth a gamble in getting it set up at the price surely?
