Rosendorff's Facebook shop link for those who want to see prices.

Their Facebook page says to go instore due to demand, and being a business that's under receivership, not the best idea to buy online anyhow…

Perfect for that last minute Mother's Day gift.

  • +5

x% off imaginary pricing doesn't constitute a deal.

    • +15

Then a lot of the posts here should be removed.

      • -1

then xuqi should also be removed

  • Do you think everything that they're selling now is at cost price? Just looking at those discounts, and potential margins?

    • +1

They're selling it with the aim to keep open, so there must still be some profit there…

  • +3

Let me refinance my mortgage. Wait up

    • hope you got 2 or more houses

  • -1

If they’re in receivership, then buying online is safer now than when they weren’t.

    • +1

      why is that?

      • +1

Because the receiver has control of the company now. .

  • Searched cashrewards and shopback and decided against this

  • +16

    Just my luck :(

Bought the diamond drop earrings for $191,877 last week and thought I scored a bargain. I was checking OzBargain everyday as well.

    • +2

that's quite bad luck mate! if you got it from officeworks you may price match it?

    • +2

Do you have payment protection on 28 degrees? Or you could buy these and return the other ones.

      • i think peter only haas pumpkin payment protection.

    • You missed out on the $15 cashback on cash rewards atm for diamond drop earrings as well… What a bugger

  • +6

Imagine buying diamonds thinking you'd bought something valuable.

  • +3

dammit - just purchased 2 Tesla's from this deal, have to wait a while to afford the $115K ring

    • +1

They're actually 115k earrings, so best to get on it quickly

      • I wonder what they would say if you wanted to buy just one of them

  • +14

I went in to buy my mrs an engagement ring last year. After telling the attendant what style I was after and my budget (decent, but not excessive) she proceeded to bring out a ring which was 3 times what I was looking at, enough to buy a new car. She made what was supposed to be an exciting day into a crap one insinuating the amount of money im spending is direct correlation of my love.

Probably one of the reasons why they're going under.

    • +3

Plus, Craig Rosendorff is one of the dodgiest people in a dodgy industry.

    • +2

That’s a shame. I had the opposite experience when I bought my wife’s engagement ring. I told her my budget and she brought a few rings out that were at or below the price point. We purchased our wedding bands there too with the same sales person and she didn’t try to up-sell either.

    • +1

I had the exact opposite experience went into most of the stores in Perth cbd and rosendorf where the first to show us things on budget spent a good couple of hours talking through customisation.
Have reccomended to a few friends with similar outcomes so might just be the sale rep

I was shopping for some simple pearl earrings one day (elsewhere) when a sales girl dropped the same line on me. I ended the conversation right there and walked out of the shop, calling over my shoulder that I'd be back if I loved my wife enough.

  • +1

    Anyone have a discount code?

  • bit expensive

  • +1

Atleast 200 people are in the queue right now.

    • Yeah, I just went past at lunchtime. Crazy line.

  • Deciding to buy earrings or telsla first.. Hmm.

    • +2
      1. Buy earrings
      2. Wait
      3. Wait
      4. Wait
      5. Sell for triple the price and buy Tesla
      6. Profit.

  • +2

Any insider could tell us what's the standard mark up for jewelry? Probably like 500%?

  • +1

The sale is on for the next week at least, some 'special collection'items are available to view in store also.

The items have however been removed from the online stores, it became too difficult to remove online purchases items from the shop floor fast enough, facilitate such large discounts online, in person viewings are always much preferred:)

Today the doors open at 10am (Saturday)
