I was at my local Aldi store and noticed the slabs were a decent price for the 36 pack.

Ticket price shows the sugar-free also, however I didn't see or ask if there was stock at my store - we never get sugar free so deal stands for the regular cola.

Unsure of expiry of "deal" and how regularly aldi have this price so may vary store to store.

Location was 3084,Heidelberg, VIC.

Mods, please feel free to offer edit advice if it can/should be structured differently.

  Its really only $18.89 if you recycle the cans for $0.10 each on those automated machines

    VIC doesn't have the CDS (Container Deposit Scheme) .

    Also, I'm suspecting that the price would be higher in states participating in the CDS.

    We're lucky to have a glass of soft drink a week let alone bottles of the stuff. Cans are easier to handle. We store the 'slab' in the garage and only put a couple of cans in the garage fridge.

    If you can't manage your sugar intake, thats your problem. Blaming the supplier is ridiculous.

    These are the same people that probably expect the government to offset their new years resolution gym membership for ingesting too much sugar. SMH
