      It's also $499 at The Good Guys and $499 from Microsoft themselves.
      So this is just the price it is and not a bargain.

    What's everyone experience for using Excel (medium size file) plus opening a few browsers on this machine? I'm hoping to use this very portable machine while I'm out doing sales work and doing some calculations etc.

      Please define medium, pretty sure it means different size to different people. It should have no issue handle a few thousand rows across multiple tabs. So if you are talking about files 5-10MBs, I don’t see how it would impact much of its performance. Depending on what you browse it will also make a huge difference, and it depends on the browser you use too.

        Thanks Allenhori, that's quite reassuring. Yes - medium size to me would be up to 100k records with lots of formulas. And I mainly use Google Chrome browser to sometimes view video content as well (but not often), so mainly text and ozbargain of course :)
