+1 on hot fudge being better - so just ask the person serving you to change the topping to fudge, worked every time for me
Asked at Mt Gravatt and they refused, they said the deal is for caramel only
oh wow really? I've had almost every sundae deal when available and had success in changing topping from quite a few in SE melb area, plus melb city stores - the staff couldn't have cared less each time and just go yeah no worries :(

I got this deal the other day, I told them to remove the caramel because my son only likes a plain Sundaie and they refunded me the $1.
I'm all for a good deal but what's with all the sundae's? One was novel and took me back to my childhood but I think we're up to the third caramel sundae deal now? Maybe Macca's has an influx of caramel topping they need to get rid of. Either way it's a no from me. </rant>
i always get this, i just ask for the caramel to be swapped with hot fudge, if they complain i just ask for a plain sundae

i find these deals tend to expire earlier than stated e.g. 9pm WA time, 11pm eastern
