        Must've been one helluva party

  • Can i still get the points if i used a gift card?

    • +2

I found these T&Cs on the Qantas Shopping website, (emphasis is mine):

Qantas Points will not be earned on tax and delivery charges, gift cards or orders redeemed with a gift card, purchases that include any voucher, coupon or discount code that is not sourced from the Online Mall platform. Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled, amended or refunded transactions. Members will not be awarded Qantas Points on purchases made on eBay Motors, eBay Real Estate, eBay Charity items, eBay Business & Industrial Capital Equipment, any Coin, Gold or Silver bar purchases, or bids made with a sniping service. Please ensure that the seller has marked your order as sent once you receive your purchased items. Please visit eBay website for full terms including shipping and delivery. Individual retailer terms and conditions apply; please check the individual retailer’s offer for full terms.

This would have stacked nicely with the eBay gift cards bought from Woolworths.

      • Thanks mate. Essentially it’s like a 2% off sitewide with normal exclusions.

  • Used to be 2 points per dollar until they changed to 1 :(

    • Cashrewards used to be at least 1% until they change to nill.

      • Wow its zero now ? When Qantas went from 2 points to 1 I changed to Velocity then they did the same shortly after

  • If you use a coupon not found on the Qantas site = 0 points :-(

  • How are Qantas and Virgin able to give eBay cashback, but CashRewards & Shopback aren't?

    • Corporate Strategy and Politics, maybe?

    • They worked out that cashbackco's don't bring in new customers as intended. Qantas points, etc, probably don't attract anywhere near the level of entitlement as cash. Ironically, probably because points are so confusing to customers, that few people can accurately track them, therefore not worry as much about them.

  • Never got the points on my Qantas account even after using the click through multiple times since two months and more ago…does it take very long usually, if anyone knows?

Seems to be a bit varied. Maybe they are waiting for the returns period to expire before awarding points.

My last three transactions took this long to appear in the Qantas account: 42 days, 23 days, 67 days.

    • +1

Within 95 days according to the small print below the "shop now" button.

    • Yup it varies. The first time I did it took a couple of weeks, the next time it only took 2-3 days.

  • +1

Qantas = no points if gift card is used or a code used that's not listed on FF site…pretty useless 95% of the time.

virgin= Good to go , even with code :)

    • +1

I have been using Qantas on ebay and 100% using gift card as payment and at least 90% tracked and approved

  • +1

So I won't get points if I use the Goodguys 20% off discount code?

  • Are we able to stack virgin and qantas points?

    • +1

Can we stack shopback and cashrewards?

  • Will it work with ebay app? Or do we need to use the website?

  • Anyone got their transactions tracked yet? Mine came in as usual 1 point per dollar only not showing double points as stated.

    • That's a quick track, are you sure that's nota previous purchase?

      • Yeah its made on 17/5 about 2pm, so may needa send email to Qantas to follow up.
