  Amazon's listing wrongly describes this as a ProSAFE switch. The GS208 is in the SOHO range. No lifetime warranty with the SOHO range and the cases are made of plastic.

      I don't understand what you are trying to tell us with this quote about the branding of Netgear's managed switches. What is your point exactly?

      SOHO Ethernet Switch Series - GS208 is not a ProSAFE switch and it is not a Web Managed switch. It has a 3-year warranty.
