  • I got the email as well. Doesn’t look like there is a landing page. You just click the link in the email and are registered, so it could be targeted.

    • It took me to a landing page.

Qf status is really diluted these days lol

    • Why?

      • +2

So many dsc it's so easy to get gold. Dilutes it for those that actually fly and are loyal by flying a lot. More crowded lounges etc. Domestic priority is already a clustereff heh

Same with the first lounge. Couldn't get a seat the other day in LAX, and this has happened to me on several occasions. Sydney lounge I've also been turned away from once.

        • +2

I tend to agree. The lounges are always full at Sydney at least. Same shit food- soup and chicken wings..the business lounge is still ok though..

    • What you're saying is true. But it's very useful when you travel with other ONEWORLD airline.

      • Yep. Also big thumbs up for going code share qantas on Emirates international flights. Full points, but access to Emirates lounge with French champagne etc. The new Melbourne lounge is excellent.

  • damn, no email and i gotta book a business flight this week

maybe hang tight. sometimes the emails don't all get sent out at once.

    • Wait for sometime. When they send these email, my family and friends get those email at different times.

    • This looks to be a generic part of the end URL, try it, can't guarantee it works - https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/member-specials/…

      • To be eligible for this offer you must have received a double Status Credits on eligible international flights offer via email between 18 and 22 May 2019. This offer is not transferable and applies to travel taken by the recipient of the email only, regardless of other passengers in the same booking.

Very much targeted, no point following that link

    • Lol, my wife just got the email, and still none for me, im cursed!

  • No email here either

    • I just received 2 mins ago.

  • Damn, booked a premium-economy syd->London yesterday…haven't got an email yet but might cancel and rebook…

Can anyone share the url their email takes them to?

Historically there was always a page where you have to enter your FF number to activate the promotion. Anyone has the link to that page?

The above seems to be the page after you do this

  • Booked a flight Friday, saw email Saturday.
    Hit link, says you’re registered.
Called them up and explained was keen to have it booked under this promotion, they cancelled it, full refund (it was less than 24 hours), I rebooked.
    Hopefully does attract the double.
    Time will tell.

  • cheapest and best way to earn 150 status credits by end of July using this promo or other??

  • Was going to book a flight to HK too but didn't receive the email…

I will book it anyway and hope can get the double points.

  • Anyone knows if the ticket has to be purchased through Qantas website for it to eligible? I'm going to book on Amex website using travel credit for Qantas. Does anyone know if this will qualify for double status credit?

I've always booked through a work travel agent and got my double credits. Unless they've changed the terms and conditions this time, which I highly doubt, you'll be fine.

      • Thanks man this is great

        • I have booked from Amex website few times, and never had an issue with bonus credits.
