          • @Chandler: Yeah well all the people that said 40 before me probably have better chance of winning.

If you went something else fingers crossed it was a dodgy question and you got it!

      • The answer is 40 or 5. The first selection was 40 for $1,000 to spend, then the top 5 had $10,000 or something.

  • -1

Can we play/participate again if you've already won it once?

    • nope, was referenced earlier, once you get a code to purchase, that's it for your household and IP.

      • okay, I played last one after wining one and could see now they've blanked out my profile

        • I haven't won anything but they blanked out my profile too.

  • do I need to keep refreshing the page? I'm on Android. is this only possible on desktop browsers? thanks

    • better chance on a desktop or laptop, just keep changing tabs and it refreshes it

    • Can be done on a mobile device. Not sure if changing tabs auto checks like desktop does.

  • Nothing since the earbuds? That's over an hour ago!

  • 254?

  • 256?

  • +2

    I counted 257

    • Same!!! Hoping its 257

      • I counted 257, we'll see I guess.

        • yeah I think you are right… I counted yesterday night and got 254.. looks like they added extra 3 lol

    • Wait yea you are right

  • +1

    Counted 257 :o

    • same here

  • I counted them after the shopback question earlier! If I had focused and not just lazily had computer on to the side to take a stab at the "guess a number" quesitons", I would have had a good chance. Oh well, maybe.

EDIT: except it sounds like the number has changed. It was 254 when the shopback question was asked…

  • I counted earlier and it was 256, but looks like they added an extra one at some stage

    • +1

Lol did the same thing haha

  • Haha I trusted this post and put 25!

  • Im dumb, i multiplied by 3 instead of 4

  • 257

  • Lol I counted yesterday. Was fully prepared for this and put 254. They add 3 more??

    • They added 2 more up until like 5pm when I last checked. Then they must have added another extra just before posting.

      • It was 264 this morning!

        • I too counted this morning and got 264. Seems some brands decided they didn't feel like offering AfterPay AfterAll…

  • +1

It should be 257. Copy all the logos and paste it on a excel spreadsheet. Spread all cells evenly and it should be 257. :O

    • +1

I did the same but with Notepad++. It just copied the Alt text and was much quicker :)

      • Smart guy!!

  • Page took forever to load….typed in 257….not going to hold my breath!

  • put 259

  • Though afterpay website https://www.afterpay.com/en-AU/categories/click-frenzy only have 230 brands…

  • +7

Should I even bother with the tv. Going to be some questions that only the employees of click frenzy know the answer to!

    • how many coffees have we consumed at click frenzy this year?

    • +2

How many online shoppers have complained since 2012?

      Should be a good one.

      • +3

probably the same answer with the number of clicks since 2012…

    • How many clicks will there be on Click Frenzy 2020?

    • +1

How many Click Frenzy staff members are laughing at us right now?

  • +1

Almost as much fun (read frustration) as the old Catch click-a-thon!!!

  • +1

Did anyone get the GHDs? I'm dying to know how many towels there were.

  • just got the email for galaxy pods, answer must of been wrong because i was pretty instant for 40

    • Same. No dice

  • +4

    8pm-9pm AEST: LG Soundbar $4
9pm-10pm AEST: Roomba Robot Vacuum $6

Click the above link to answer this question: How many people subscribed to Click Frenzy's mailing list yesterday (21/5/2019)?

      …. really

  • +5

What a load of crap that TV question.

    • +1

Lol as I predicted earlier. Pretty sure they don't want to bother giving out any TVs

  • Answered 100k

  • I guessed 12562

  • I knew it, i (profanity) knew it was going to be take a random guess for the TV

  • I took a wild stab at 16581

  • i guessed 1 thousand

  • 5662

  • I used my luck guessing the number of eggs in the Easter egg guessing competition at work…

  • 12350, hesitated, changed to 10350. Don't know where that number comes from

  • +1

i put 285,000 lol…. how the hell would anyone know unless you work for them!

    • rubbish question, poor form from Baitfrenzy

  • I guessed 86442, we'll see i guess.

  • Answered 150,000 - lots of news reports on it yesterday. It's a needle in a haystack question….

    • +1

Going extra high or low is probably a good strategy. You don't want to guess right where everyone else is. In hindsight, I should have gone a lot higher than I did (although not quite as high as 150k ;))

  • +11

Better question, how many will unsubscribe tomorrow? :)

    • Doesn't matter, they got their click through referral commissions. That's the whole purpose of this.

The go nuts stuff is as cheap advertising as they come to keep eyeballs on the site and get more clicks.

  • +1

You'd have a better chance of winning if they randomly picked people off the members/subscription list. What a load of BS that question is.

    • Yeah, they really don't plan to sell any TVs for $17.

      • +1

Prob be closest to the hole

      • Why not? What does it cost them via a partner deal with Sony? $500? $1000? Freebie as part of the exposure deal?

Whatever it is is peanuts compared to other forms of advertising. It's the same as Youtubers giving away latest gadgets, nothing compared to clickbait revenue.

  • +1

Good time to have a friend who works the frenzy mailing list…

  • I thought that companies running competitions had to quote the number and value of all prizes. Do they get around that by letting you win the opportunity to buy something? Like arriving first in line at a store for a midnight launch. I suppose if that is true, then they don't technically have to offer the opportunity to buy a TV to anyone.

    • Yes, also even if you win and already payed for the item (the TV for example $17), they can decide to cancel your order and refund you.

ACCC cannot do anything about it, they have refunded you the payment so there is no binding contract anymore - have asked them about this.

  • +2

lol at the TV question. There is a higher probability you will win the lotto than the TV.

Most likely the CEO of click frenzy has submitted his answer ;)

    • +3

It will go well with their new phone.

  • +1

I tried asking the question via their chat line. Apparently only the competition runner knows the answer.

    • +1

Did you then proceed to ask "WHAT THE (FROPANITY)?" on our behalf.

    • Which would make it completely unverified information. The answer to every question could literally be 'gherkin'.

  • 34 Dogs?

    • I had 48, but there were some duplicates and a bunch of tiny ones

    • God I got to 72 :/ I even counted the dogs on the packaging haha maybe I'm overthinking this

      • Maybe you're right with the trick question

  • 30 dogs?

  • 29 dogs - or 30 if you include the ad??

  • Go Nuts Deal-Sodastream

Click the above link to answer this question: How many dogs can be spotted on the "Pets" sub-category page?

    https://bit.ly/2Qh9XZF

  • 89 dogs?
considering the dogs on each of the label.
    That's my count

  • I counted 83 if you include the dogs in the brand logos and on the flea boxes etc. Gherkin.

  • +1

Do we get to find out the answers once the winner is decided. I want to know how far off I was.

    • +4

Someone earlier said they got an email from C.F. stating NO they won't reveal answers, like wtf shady much.

    • Someone said earlier there was an official response from CF stating that no answers would be published during or after the event.

      • +2

My browser hadn't updated before I posted this so I didn't see Fast and Curious' reply!

  • +5

Won a $200 Visa card. Think it was the Afterpay question? Said 259.

    • Lucky and congrats

    • +6

grats, but it's a bit weird that there was 257 logos on the page, also just went back to the page and now there are 258 logos. Super sketchy.

      • Just checked and I agree there is 258 now. I was on my mobile at the time and it was only 2 columns wide, was pretty confident there was 259 at the time.
