  • That's not the A60. The A60 has a specification of 1100 lm.

That's the plain old vanilla mini-white. Compare:

Thanks. Updated title. It was copied straight from bunnings website

Would have been a fantastic price for the A60!

You are incorrect. A19/A60 refers to the diameter of the bulb at its widest (19/8 in; 60mm), so the LIFX Mini White can be correctly labelled as A19/A60 and LIFX has this as its product class:

      LIFX Mini White

      Product Class
Small A19/A60 form in E27 Edison Screws, B22 Bayonet

      Product Dimensions LxWxH
      60 x 60 x 105 mm

      • Thanks for the clarification!

Apologies for the misinformation. I always thought it was the part number but that is not the case.

Can some share their thoughts experience around what makes them better compared to Xiaomi bulbs? They tend to be more expensive as well, is it worth it ?

I have been using mine for the last two years, not sure how Xiaomi is. But the quality is good. Very customisable and 100% made me lazier. 10/10 Would recommend

Don't need a Bridge to talk to the rest of the network (Xiaomi bulbs are Zigbee based and need a Zigbee to your LAN bridge). The Lifx are also 100% standards approved for AU if that matters to you.

  • How do these compare to TP-Link bulbs?

Different class - LIFX is top of the range for smart bulbs.

  • nvm….. us site

  • I wonder how this one compares with the $15 Mirabella Genio one at Kmart:

If you're an Apple HomeKit user it's hands down go the Lifx. They work direct with Homekit (with the Lifx app also useable cross-platform etc).
The Genio IIRC are "Tuya" based devices which can be Bridged to Homekit using a RaspberryPi and a bit of fun "hacking" but it's another device, and another layer of effort to make work.
