This phone is really bloat free.

I've been flashing roms on various phones forever (starting with the original HTC Desire right up to the V20) updating yearly or sooner.

I find this room to be really clean, fast and problem free, and have no desire to mess with things. If LG reneg on Pie this could change though I guess…

I wonder if we're going to see a fire sale on the P30 models thanks to the US Huawei ban.

    • Why bother using chinese phones? Use australian phones. Don't be a traitor!

    • u mean this

    • just read, youtube will be banned. lol huawei phones are worthless now, to most people gmail/app store are tolerable but not youtube.

  • apparently you can't be on a call and use the internet at the same time with this phone. Can someone confirm?

    • Incorrect. Works fine for me on Vodafone.

    • Where did you hear that? I frequently do both concurrently with no problems.

On a dual-SIM phone, usually one of the SIM slots is active and the other is passive. That means you can only use data on one of your SIMs but not both at once.

I have a dual-SIM LG V20 and my data goes through my primary SIM (personal number); I wasn't able to access the internet or send/receive emails while I'm a call using the secondary SIM (work number).

However, if I'm on a call using my personal number, I can still use data and access internet because both the call and data is going through the active SIM.

  • If anyone's wondering whether this phone is going to get any updates. Just received OTA update today and had got one if Feb this year as well. So not bad at all.
