    How would this output at 1.7a@9v when it's wattage is limited to 10watts?

      The input voltage and current can (theoretically) produce 15.3 watts. The output power is limited, per QC/Qi spec, and compensates for losses in the induction charging circuitry.

    The amazon reviews say that it falls off the vents all the time.
    Also the amazon price is no where near $44

      I think it's a bit unfair to give a negative feedback based on the product review.
      I think Baseus is a good brand.
      I did a quick search in eBay and Amazon and did not find identical product that has cheaper price that this.

        Gave it negative feedback because its supposed price of $44 is no where near what they sell for. Its a fake sale.
        Its at most a couple of dollars more and you can get similar or the same delivered in a few days.

      Probably depends on the size of the vent blades, I have no issues with my Forester. They don't work on some vent types either (as stated on the page)

      Is it the holder's fault or shitty vents?

      My car has terrible vents for mounting things, so I got one that goes into the CD slot.

          I have no idea if there are any objectively good ones, my mount is just a cheap generic ebay one. No recommendations, sorry.

          I just thought I'd mention it as an option since I never even thought to search for it.

          My car's vents are no good for clips, the dash is too curved and textured for suction cups. Stumbled upon a CD mount and it works for me.

      hi MoJ, thanks for comment, if your holder is also Baseus, normally Baseus has special clamp design to make it stable and durable, and this pattern receives many good comments. If it's products fault i think you can contact seller for replacement.

    The only thing I can tell is OP’s lists ten (dubious value) protections as against six.

    I’m sorely tempted at this price but think I’ll wait for the other model discounted as it seems to have a lot of people vouching for it.
