        • Nice its at the right place to buy stacks as well :)
Look out for it in the future .

@profar: Be reminded, Utimate Kids/Teens gift card will not work on online stores, it for in-store use only.

            • @O O: … and the offer has expired.

              • @Gaz1: Yes, but it'll come up from time to time. Keep an eye on it.

      6.5%…that's it?

This is the site that goes nuts when WISH gift cards are increased by 0.5% in their discount…

But for usually expensive big ticket items that people would buy from JB, yes it’s a pretty decent discount.

      • +2

Fair enough. I guess i was considering the impact on buying a $50 item. That will be $3.25 but for a $500 item, that will be $32.5.

        • It’s decent for big stuff like tvs etc.

        • +2

Yeah when it’s a $2000 TV it can make a huge difference as opposed to an extra 0.5% for a weekly $50 shop (which you could save a lot more buying specials or shopping not just at Woolies), yet those deals always get 300+ votes for some strange reason 🙄

Good for the 55" RU7100 on sale for $995. Brings it down to ~$930.

  • +4

If anyone wants to buy some I’m happy to let them use mine to buy the gift cards. There’s no way I’ll hit the $5k mark myself haha

    • I'll take you up on that if you wouldn't mind. Please enable private messages so I can contact you.

      • Done, shoot me a message

    • Can I take you up on that too please?

now to find someone with a login..

      • If anyone wants to share their BCF/TGG login I'd be happy to pay them $5 haha.

        • Woops, read that completely wrong lol…

  • +2

shame about the 1% cc surcharge, if you have a policy with suncorp (aami is one under the banner) can get 5% and no cc surcharge

  • Anyone successfully purchased yet? I keep getting a try again later message

  • Does anyone know how these will fare if you purchase something and it ends up not working within warranty and you'd like a refund? Would they simply just write you a credit note/give you another Gift Card or say it's not possible lol.

    • You usually get the refund via original method of payment. So JB Hifi should give another gift card.

      • Thanks!

        • Thats with every retailer btw ie. Myer, Woolies, Coles

          • @Ughhh: I know it's a general rule that refunds go to original method of payment. However some stores may be dodgier- was asking about actual store experiences at jb, not hypothetical.

Though I did call jb and they confirmed they do issue a new Gift Card. Their gift cards also have no expiry so it's almost as good as cash!

  • I don't know if I should make a switch to AGL for this deal. Does anybody know if AGL is better for Perth in comparing to others?

    • Me as well curious

      Cheers

    • I tried to switch but alinta WA offered me 40% discount and backdated it a couple months plus $50 credit (to match the AGL gift card offer for switching).

  • We're just putting the final touches on.
Your account will be ready shortly so please check back soon

    cant log on.. anyone?

    • Maybe give them a call? Or I can probably do it for you, but that would depend on how much you trust a total internet stranger haha.

  • Anyone ordered from AGL rewards before?

What courier/shipping service did they use for sending the gift cards out? Theres a disclaimer that if lost, the egift cards cannot be cancelled nor replaced, which frankly scares the hell out of me for $500 worth of money.

They don't mention that signature is required or anything at all.

I was going to send it to my parcel locker address to be safe, but if another courier service is sending, this won't work.

Would it be a good idea to pay by credit card (1% fee) so at least if its lost in transit, theres possible recourse?

    • +1

They are e-gift cards, they are sent to your email. In my case I ordered with a credit card at 10am Sunday and received them in email just before midday. I used CC as I didn't want to wait for Direct Deposit to process because I was getting the Pixel 3a trade-in deal at JB HiFi.

      • +1

Thanks for your reply. Omg haha. Yeah top line says "they will send the voucher to the email". I didn't see that.

Below that they asked for shipping address, and then at the bottom have a disclaimer about no replacements if lost in transit. Just wasted all this time calling my bank asking whether credit card payment would cover in the event of a loss. Sigh.

Guess alls well that ends well!

Also yeah, it said e-gift card. But i've used e gift cards before that had to be printed so i thought they'd send out a print out of those haha.
