    I bought this from a previous deal, but I have issue with intermittent drops in charging. It’ll charge for like 10-20minutes and then just cut out. Need to re-plug it from the back.

    I heard there’s a special adapter that needs to be used with this? I’ve been using the Apple one. Not sure if that’s the issue or if it’s a dud model. Anyone with similar issues?

      Recommended charger is 9V1.67A, minimum requirement is 5V2A. The iPhone original one only outputs 5V1A so a little bit underspeced for this wireless charger (or any wireless charger tbh)

      After reading the comments, I think its safe to say its not a given. I have one and it didn't have a cable in the box. Perhaps some versions had one…others didnt.

      IF it does 10w then yes it will but you will probably need a QC3 charger…the standard wall plug may work but not always to get fast charging.

    Bought one of these sometime ago. Have also Choetech units. This one charges through a thickish case but also receives data when fully charged to stop charging. Choetech unit only does this if the case is relatively thin. So buying another unit now. Thanks OP

      Agreed, I have it plugged into the QC 3.0 port on my blitzwolf charger and takes over 2 hours to recharge an s8.

    As an alternative, Aldi has a $19.99 qi 10W charger in the catalogue for next week (June 5). Does anyone know anything about it? Aldi's generous returns policy could be worth the extra $2 to you.

    Just received mine which I had to pay an extra $6.80 postage to AusPost because Shopro sent it in a envelope and not a parcel as it should've been. Just a word of warning to others who may be in the same situation.

      I'd be contacting ShoPro about that. Sounds like you got charged as AusPost determined it was too thick to be in an envelope (i.e. not letter size)
